RULES
- DAY PHASES will last at least 24 hours.
- during DAY PHASES, discuss amongst yourselves who you think the wolves are. cast your vote by putting the member name in bold in your post. you can post discussion as much as you like, just make sure your vote is clearly labeled whenever it happens. i will periodically tally votes and post updates throughout the day phase.
- during each DAY PHASE, you may change your vote a total of ONCE. when changing your vote, please indicate who you are changing your vote from and please still bold the name of who you are changing your vote to
- ACTIVITY RULES: you will only be removed from the game if you fail to vote in either 3 consecutive day phases or 5 day phases total. you may vote to abstain, just make sure it is bolded like any other regular vote
- at the end of each DAY PHASE, there will be an EXECUTION. whoever gets the most votes will be EXECUTED. in the event of a tie, the TYCOON will PM me to make the final decision. whoever kills the TYCOON gains this ability, unless the TYCOON is lynched, in which case ties will be resolved using the means in my previous game (extension of day phase, forced vote changes, and coin flip if it's still tied)
- after the EXECUTION we will enter the NIGHT PHASE. the thread will go quiet as everyone lays down their heads to sleep for the night. the wolves will discuss who they want to target and one of them will send me a message. whenever that choice has been made (and whenever i am awake to reflect it), the next DAY PHASE will start with the discovery of the next body. any other role with a night ability will message me as well should they wish to use their ability, otherwise they will indicate that they are skipping.
- REGARDING ROLE CLAIMING: do not share correspondence with me with any other player. do not explicitly claim a role (or deny that a role is yours by name). accept that vaguely claiming a role puts a target on your back. be sneaky about it.
TOWNIE ROLES
Seer: the classic. once per night, can PM me the name of any player and will discover that player's role, if any. if the seer targets someone who is also targeted by the wolves, the seer will instead learn the identity of one random wolf. if the seer targets someone who is also targeted by the Vigilante, the seer will instead learn the Vigilante's identity.
Vigilante: one of my favorite roles, the Vigilante has a supply of wolf-killin' bullets but also a heavy conscience. if the Vigilante successfully targets a wolf, the Vigilante can keep killin'. (might cap at three times, we will see). however, if the Vigilante kills an innocent, they won't be able to use their ability anymore and will basically be a regular townie for the rest of the game.
Doctor: another classic. can target one person per night to make sure they do not die. if their target is also a wolf target, the wolf target will remain alive but with scars indicating they were attacked by a wolf. so, they'll know, but no one else will. if the Doctor and the Vigilante target the same person...similar scars will let the person know they were shot. (the Vigilante will still lose their ability in this case.) the Doctor will even save a wolf, given that they'd be none the wiser. if this is confusing don't worry hopefully it doesn't happen
Polycule: i've seen this role group as, like, Masons in other games but come on this way is way funnier. this is a group of 4 townies who all know each other to be definitively townie. they have no real powers beyond this apart from loving each other very deeply. if they are targeted by either Seer, their role will only be shown as Townie. however, their identity as a member of the Polycule will be revealed in the event of their death.
Somnambulist: a very fancy word for sleepwalker. this person cannot be targeted by anyone during any night phase, except the seer. anyone who targets them will learn their role.
Tycoon: having recently come into a great deal of wealth, the Tycoon can bribe the executioner to break a tie. if they die, tie-breakers will be settled in the same way they were settled in the previous game. added wrinkle: if the wolves kill the Tycoon, they gain access to the money and they gain the ability to break ties
Alchemist: this person ain't going down without taking someone with them. the alchemist has been imbibing poisons not lethal enough to kill a human but definitely lethal to anyone of the lupine persuasion. if the Alchemist is targeted by the wolves, one random wolf will die during the following night phase.
Townie: can vote and can die. that's about it. there are 4 regular Townies in this game.
WOLF ROLES
Alpha Wolf: as the strongest of the pack, the Alpha Wolf will be able to make one kill in addition to the regular wolf kill during any one night of their choosing. however, they're also doomed if they target the Alchemist, so be careful!
Wolfscryer: the Wolfscryer has the exact same abilities as the townie Seer. however, their powers come at a cost: anyone they use their ability on will gain immunity from being targeted by the wolf pack, although the Alpha Wolf can still target them
Cursed Wolf: what a terrible night for a wolf-curse. if this wolf is executed, one of the people who voted for them will be chosen at random and killed simultaneously. if they die at the hands of the Vigilante, the Vigilante will also die.
Halfling Wolf: half-wolf and half-human, this person has chosen to cast their lot with beastkind. they will appear as a regular Townie if the Seer attempts to discern their identity. if they are otherwise killed, they will initially be revealed to be a regular Townie. however, once one full night phase and one full day phase has passed since their death, their corpse will shift and their identity as a wolf will be revealed.
