The whole thing has been "the wolves benefited so much from the Cupid alliance", but if those two cupids are members of the town they aren't finding the RK.
Maybe, but it's also harder for you to kill him.

It's like both sides benefitted from having a lover on each side.

TD: I'd argue the Cupids benefited more than the wolves in hindsight.
I'd argue it was a symbiotic relationship. Without me, you're dead earlier, have an issue with the RK, and maybe someone gets revived earlier.

No way of knowing.

Any non town-town I take it you mean?

Nah imo ranked from best to worst from the town perspective. Also in order of chances to win for the couple (nonexistant chances to win at the top). Again just my opinion here:

Wolf-Wolf: No benefits to the evils, benefits the town in that they get a 2 for 1 kill.
Town-Town: Hurts the town because 2 townies can be killed for the price of one
Solo-Wolf: Hurts the town because of coordination of plans and kills. But the town can kill a wolf AND killer in one shot.
Solo-Town: basically the same as wolf-town.
Town-Wolf: Can be absolutely devastating to the the town. Allows all sorts of shenanigans. One thing that wasn't possible this game is the couple can reverse roles. Say Vash is flower child. Aura seer checks Vash as good. Now Christina can claim Flower Child and she's the only one with that claim. She can even "prove" herself if voted.

Wolf-wolf would be incredibly shit for the wolves.
In all the times I've played this dumb game I've seen two wolves win as a couple ONE TIME. One wolf was nightmare, they kept the rk alive as long as possible and then nightmared him the last two nights until they could vote him off as the last remaining villager. Basically impossible.

When I died is irrelevant - I was already exposed and my power had been used. If a wolf team wins with all wolves, the town fucked up.

Nobody had an issue with the RK. Apparently because he was trying to only kill townies and self-preserve.

Unless you're saying you would've revived FR on the first night then no, because you were the discussion as the shadow target.

It's highly likely I would have, out of fear of not being able to use my ability at all. I only never considered it because of our temporary alliance.

And I already was pretty sure about one of you wolves before I even got my Cupid arrow.

I'm not saying I didn't benefit GREATLY from the wolves, but let's not act like you would have completely dominated the game without help.

Maybe you would have. Maybe you wouldn't.

I'm not saying we would've dominated the game at all. This game is designed to be a game the town wins currently. 5 games and a 100% win rate for the town.

Now is that also part the wolves and solo roles imploding in the games? Absolutely.

Dude I'm glad it was her as a wolf and not me because I 100% would have typed something into a wrong window.
I'm surprised she didn't.

Hell even in the wolf chat when it opened I had to make sure I wasn't in the game thread every time before I hit send.

I really don't like being a wolf. Nothing to do with winning, but you have a small group really relying on you to pull your weight.

I remember her telling us how she doesn't know how she can hide it from you.

I will say though, it was cool of Cole to match you two up to hopefully make it less stressful?
Honestly being able to conspire with her was the most fun I've had in one of these games. Way more fun than just telling her about all my fuck-ups

13 pages wtf

The only surprises in here to me was really how fast the dead townies turned on the couple once it was a day phase and how vash was happy meeting his secondary objective when I had hoped he would let Christina win with hers, which is why I used the “b-word”

also, I appreciate the vindication that I was in favor of the couple winning with either townies or wolves (preferably wolves). I still think it makes sense, because the easiest way to get that far is to be open with your non-coupled teammates and hope they are accepting of your union. If they are, they should let you win once your side reaches its win threshold

I’ve done tons of soul searching and coaching and reading and therapy since my divorce, I’ve become pretty much an expert on NOT invalidating feelings. Sorry, but I don’t think calling people down for some of this drama over GAMES OF WOLF qualifies, but if you want to lecture then I will listen and welcome your feedback. If I feel I need to make an adjustment or reevaluate afterwards, then I welcome it and thank you for the opportunity.

Don’t be bitter. It’s a game, you’re a grown up, and people have been screwed over worse than you.
I read this right as I was getting in the car. I was thinking of using it as a point, not just about you but other people that were making these kind of statements. This is an invalidating statement. Telling somebody to not feel the feelings they are feeling is invalidating. Human beings do not do well with this. They throw gasoline on a fire more often than not. You cannot help the feelings you feel. You can only control your reaction to those feelings. You also can't help the feelings others feel, which is were I fuck up a lot. I want to reiterate that I do not feel you and only did this or that maybe this statement above was in jest. And I do not think anybody did it on purpose. It's really easy to make statements that invalidate others feelings. It's something I too have been working on. It's honestly a pet peave of mine to see people tell other people to just get over their feelings. I really am truly sorry if my comment cause you pain. I can only imagine how hard going through something like that must be.

Thank you. I’m not hurt at all, I actually appreciate being checked for something I said. You are right, I should not have told him he shouldn’t feel bitter over what happened in the game, and it was also wrong of me to say others had it worse.

I do think a lot of the drama in these games is unnecessary though. Yes we are all adults. No, adults are not supposed to be without feelings, or told to suck it up. That’s where I erred and I’m sorry for that.

What being an adult means, is that we control how we react to these feelings. We are responsible for our behavior and what we say to others. So if I do feel the need to chastise anyone in the future, I will try to remember to make sure it’s about the behavior or responses or the hurtful or insulting words being used, and not just me telling someone not to feel a certain way or call them childish for having feelings about a game.

I voiced my own frustration over how the cupid thing played out on my end, so I’m not without feelings on the game either. I should remember that and stop acting like I’m better than anyone who’s acting out on theirs.

I tried to poke fun at what happened. It had to have been frustrating to die learning a valuable piece of information only to have it not used. Does it make you feel any better to know it was used to take down the killer role?

That’s kind of cool if it did that, but I promise I’m already over it. I realize that the roles you had gave you both different motivations and end goals, and you played the game you were given. It was a fun and memorable game.
