Nintendo All my bros are Mario bros

For those of you who have played Wonder, how do you think it would be for kids going on 6 & 8?

My nephew and niece are getting a Switch for Christmas and thinking of grabbing it for them.
I think it's perfectly fine. Not too hard, animations and voice acting was really fun and colorful. I enjoyed it as a 33 year old but I think kids would really like it too. Being a platformer, you can't really "get lost". Some levels are definitely hard but the game as a whole would be very enjoyable, in my opinion.

Arent a couple of the characters also unhurtable characters?

Just got to lava level, mostly only playing on weekends as I dont have the energy during the week and I dont want to play just a level or two. Still having lots of fun

For me right now SMB3 and SMWorld are my top two mario games, Wonder may be my 3rd though.

Im not sure where my 3rd would be; Wonder, Bowser's Fury, 3D world, 64 and SMB all have things I really love about them. Though the latter two are probably behind the first three listed. Wonder may get it since Fury is pretty short and 3d World has a few minor control issues, at least on switch.

Yes! Yoshis and Nabbit cannot take damage but they also can't use powerups like fire flower/elephant. If you play with others, someone can ride Yoshi's back to get through a difficult spot. My brother just came down to visit me yesterday and he helped me on all the special worlds doing this!

Just finished it, really enjoyed my time with it. Will go back to try and beat the harder levels which all I can describe as Star Road, not sure what its called in here as I noped out the first time

Bosses were a tad disappointing, some worlds didnt have one and fighting similar Bowser Jr got boring. The final level was fun and groovy, but the final boss was, kind of disappointing, it wasnt hard, but it felt tedious in doing the same thing over and over
