I’m going to be really cranky if I get voted off day 1 as a joke because everyone was trying the new game mechanism and @Fool's Requiem @Quagmire and @Tommy Boy are all both acolytes and too chicken shit to play the game as intended

It's perfectly fine to ignore all the questing stuff and just try to play it like regular wolf.

In fact if anything, you get extra voting power as other people give up their right to vote :link

@Ants! When does the store restock inventory?
When people sell stuff to it that they don't want.

Otherwise I haven't worked out a mechanism for it to restock itself yet. An idea just occurred to me though: I could assign each item a "rarity" value where I roll for each one at the end of the night phase to see if it appears on the store shelf in the morning. I think that's what I'll do. :thinking

Sounds neat. Even just 1 new item a night gives options. But this would otherwise be a great example of why we actually need to quest somewhat, to import new goods into the economy!
 
You can trade items for gold, as described in the opening post. For example, trade item for 1 gold.

Can players just straight up give items/gold?
Yep you can just straight up give something away to another player if you like. Giving/trading during the day phase can only be done publicly though. At night it can be done privately.

So selling to the store gives me 1/2 the value of the item?

But I can trade it directly for the full cost of said item and eliminate your stupid distribution facility? I'm on to you, Ants!mazon.
 
Yeah you can use that as a bargaining argument if you want. For example you could sell a healing salve to the shop to get back 5 gold, then another player can buy it for 10 gold, but if you work out a deal with that other player you could sell it for like 7 or 8 maybe, and it's a win/win for you both.

Yeah, I'd thought the same but didn't include the "so I can sell it for 3/4" bit. Just in case I wanted to charge higher!

Anyway, standing offer to the town, I've got a Holy Water if anyone's got their dick cursed or something. Kurthost will charge you 20 gold for this liquid spurt straight from the gods themselves, but I shall start the healing at 15g. I

have 3 kids to feed.

As an added bonus, this screws the Merchant out of a commission if there is one in the game.
