It's the best thing to be couple with a priest.

Imagine Local was the priest coupled with Tommy.
Being coupled with a priest is fine, but the wolves sometimes kill me for driving the conversation. I intentionally didn't do it this game and tried to be as minimally helpful as I thought I could get away with, but oh well. I bet they regret killing me instead of local!

Dousing someone who has claimed Priest is uh choice.
Yeah, I told Tommy to leave Vash alone because he could only kill himself or a wolf. Idk what the thinking was there.

Oh and I'll definitely need to know if my lovers got the message before my untimely demise.
Nope, I have no idea what you mean.

Well, when you don't know if there's protections and there's only one bullet left, I'd probably skip going after a gunner night 2. Night 3 well... I'd have to know more about what roles the town has and maybe go after the second bullet.

Our wolf games are interesting. People kill you if you talk too much. People kill you if you don't talk enough. People try to kill you if your name is Benzine. And apparently this game it was the dice gods who decided who died. So yeah!

Very amusing though.

Yeah, that's true. Something like the sheriff would be a danger too.

People made some interesting choices for roles that I didn't expect.

The Princess Bride Boo GIF by filmeditor

Every single one of my posts was supposed to be for you two.
I wasn't able to follow closely at the time (I'm busy Fridays), but even rereading the thread, I don't get the message on most of them.

Fucking wild how the town slaughtered the evils so quick. I was expecting more friendly fire incidents.

Im Back Wake Up GIF

Hello. Was fun while it lasted. Part of me does kind of regret we didn't do something more creative with our wolf roles, but looks like it was just not our game so far anyway.

@Zell 17 I wanna shoot a dead person from the grave.
This sounds so dumb but I'm really curious how a game would work if dead players entered a second ghost game of wolf in the dead thread where they could kill people back to the other game. Maybe people would have dual roles for life and death assigned or something. There'd probably have to be certain stuff that causes permadeath too so it wouldn't go on forever. Would probably be a fun game to watch play out.

Not sure if this would work, but maybe half the players start in the living thread and half in the dead one and if you die twice you're out completely. Maybe townies would be the mafia of the dead town and vice versa? And the goal could be to drain either thread to a certain number of players or something? I don't know, there's something there, but it would need more fleshing out.

You know, a custom role that's similar to the avenger, but you get to kill a person the following phase after you had died. If you were killed during the day or lynched, the following night you got to take the shot. If someone killed you during the night, you got the following day to enact your revenge.

Could be considered a strong role, as you get the benefit of the dead thread as well as potentially a wolf/solo kill if you die during the night as info for your kill.

A game for the dead thread people.

👀

It's like Wolf Inception.
Who'd the dead try to kill, and how? :thinking

Maybe we can have our own poll here for the alive people. Whoever gets the most votes will... die? Not die? Get their role revealed in dead chat regardless of medium roles existing?

Way to capitalize on all that momentum, town!
To be fair, if you don't got good feels or leads, I do believe not lynching is a perfectly viable strat. Even more so if you're in the lead. You'd get more night actions in and potentially learn about the wolves.

Granted we don't got a good seer, but otherwise it would be pretty neat.

The more I think about it to more I think that for my wolf team I’d choose a wolf seer, two wolf avengers, and probably a shadow wolf.

Wolf seer is almost necessary because you need the knowledge advantage of exact roles. I think Wolf Avengers are more powerful than the Alpha Wolf or Guardian because really, the Alpha Wolf or guardian just allows the wolves to survive one more attack (and consequently, perhaps get one more kill). The Avengers guarantee whatever kill the wolves might need.

Anyways, Ben is currently concussed right now so even though the villagers aren't voting, they're using their powers to great effect.

I'd honestly probably use guardian to block a townie from getting lynched to try to fish a townie kill on themselves. Even better if there's a judge or priest around who will then die themselves right after.

Sure you will use your power to give the town a guaranteed townie, but you also waste a kill shot. Might even be more ideal if the town goes to lynch the same person the day after as it just delays them and wolves keep getting more night kills.

Lmao wait what how did Benzine get lynched?
kut and Ben never took their votes off of him. I think CAFM had thrown his there at some point so he was hovering with 3 for forever. In the end, dimmerwit just wanted blood and pushed the last vote.

Vash might've also been on Benzine before Benzine moved his vote off of Vash.

I've been toying with what I would build too... I landed somewhere similar to yours but did Seer, Avenger, Alpha, Shadow. Alpha not just to survive the double tap but to communicate with the wolves during the day so no need to rush or panic shadow use.
Alpha is also nice because it's the only wolf without an evil aura. It doesn't matter this game, but it often does.

I wouldn't mind wolves always getting to pick their roles.

Correct.

And there's still the matter of trusting the person who claims Bully.

If I'm kut, I'm claiming Bully right now.
And that is one of the things I hate about being a WW.

You have to lie. And lie convincingly. For the rest of the game. Or at least until they lynch the real Bully, in which you're screwed. I know it can be done. But not by someone like me lol.

Super high risk. Let's say you are the Bully and see shortkut claim it. You can prove yourself immediately by killing Ben. But if you think Ben is a townie, that puts the village at severe risk (4 v 2 with two likely powerful wolves remaining). You could just rock shortkut, but then the wolves win after they kill the bully tonight with the same situation.

Does the bully out themselves with the second rock? Or does it just say they are stoned to death by a bully?

Because if it doesn't out me, if I'm the Bully, I probably am pulling the trigger here to get info on Ben (and because when else am I going to use my power?).
