I disagree with this logic because a townie getting lynched is (almost) always a good thing for the wolves. And in case an actual wolf was about to get lynched, having that power to keep them alive another day (or cause townies to burn their powers) is too valuable to waste

A wolf voting for a fellow wolf in two rounds back to back and then ACTIVELY CAMPAIGNING for their lynching and never wavering in the second round. I almost got him lynched.
