Early season weather and construction are why Cleveland hasn't had a home game yet. Only team to not have played one so far.

Really, if there's any team in the country with and outdoor stadium that needs LESS games in April, it's Cleveland.

April weather in Cleveland is super inconsistent but often cold and wet.

a bit of old news but Blue Jays managed to sign Vlad Guerrero jr. to an extension 14 years $500 mil which seems insane for a player like Vlad. Now the Mets are screwed if Pete opts out at the end of the season because i still think Vlad was their main plan and they didn’t want to re-sign Pete. with how negotiations went last off season I don’t think they’ll re-sign him bow if he does opt out

so over one month into the season and the Mets are doing really well. they have cooled off a bit but still first place in the East. Soto started off cold and is doing better but is still not at his potential just yet. Alonso and Lindor are doing better than I ever have thought. Lindor isn't starting off slow like he usually does and Alonso is mashing the ball. I just hope the Mets can keep this up

Edit: probably should have made this post after the mets game.....I think I jinxed them

so through 2 months of the season the Standings a lot of predictability of who's leading the didvisions sure. but there are also some surprises here. The Braves are not really competing for an NL East division as many thought they would, the Cardinals are somehow continuing their Necromancy, the Dodgers are first n the NL West of Course BUT due to injuries to their pitching they are faltering which just goes to show no matter how much money you spend doesn't mean you will always win.

over in the AL some surprises are the Blue Jays, the Guardians after starting off fairly well have struggled mightily now while the Tigers are picking up where they left off last year. in the AL West it's the opposite for the Astros where they didn't start off that great but have since gotten hot. and the Mariners and athletics who started hot have fallen off majorly. the Atheltics have fallen way harder than the Mariners however.
