Agree with the latter but at the time the former was mind-blowing to me because I had never seen a video game do that. I thought it was illegal or something lolTwo disappointments with that game story wise
Evil church is kind of boring, and there could have been something actually interesting with a love triangle and they didnt explore it
GA2 starts off a bit slow, but the pay-off is really good (even if the ultimate conclusion was a bit predictable, none of the steps to get there really were, but they were logical [except the choice of prosecution] and interesting). And by the end, you see why the first half of GA2 played out the way it did. Overall, really enjoyed the series. Great games.I agree bits of GAA can be slow (were you not entertained by the window tax?) but I agree with Kelly's assessment that the cases are more fun to play and more logical.
Shlomes does have a pay-off too.
Thats Rogue.
All 3 Max Payne games are supposedly playable on modern Xbox systems, if that's the issue.I p much game console-only nowadays, but I imagine Max Payne 1 and 2 on consoles would be a pain in the ass to play
Oh, I didn't realize there were actually confirmed remakes coming out. I thought Vash was memeing/being hopeful. All 3 Max Payne games are supposedly playable on modern Xbox systems, if that's the issue.
Otherwise, waiting for the remastered editions of the first two by Remedy to come out is probably the way to go. According to Wikipedia, it's expected to get a release on PS5, XBOX Series S/X, and Windows and is using the engine they made for Quantum Break, Control, and Alan Wake 2.
I specifically picked a nondescript image that had the daggers because I knew a Real Dude would know from that.I'd recognize those daggers anywhere.
Kingdoms of Amalur, underrated game.
Yup, you got it.Among all the weird, freaky, but also hilarious games out there, LISA is definitely one of the best. Helps that it also takes after Earthbound.
A physical edition of this finally came out on the Switch about half a year ago. I hear it's a really unique experience even in spite of the Earthbound similarities
This looks like a top-down MMORPG I used to play that was pretty dope. You could reach max level in like an hour or two.View attachment 32407
I found a gif instead and it's amusing to me. So y'all get this instead of a screenshot.
It's definitely unique enough to separate it. I won't get too into it because that first playthrough if you know very little about it is a special kind of fun. Gotta be a fan of weird games though.A physical edition of this finally came out on the Switch about half a year ago. None of these things are relevant to this game. This looks like a top-down MMORPG I used to play that was pretty dope. You could reach max level in like an hour or two.
Wait, fuck, I think I might know what it is....None of these things are relevant to this game.
If I remember right, that gif isn't even a cropped out from anything.
I thought TowerFall was just bows...maybe thats just the version I played.Wait, fuck, I think I might know what it is....
TowerFall?
Oh maybe you're right. It looks so familiar though... I wish I could remember the name of that MMORPG I was talking about too. Shit was funI thought TowerFall was just bows...maybe thats just the version I played.
It looks like a cuter version of Noita but I know thats not it. I have no guess.
Nopers.Wait, fuck, I think I might know what it is....
TowerFall?
Ye. Unless someone else gets it or wants to still try, I deem you the victor.I first tried to find a list of games that reference that classic LoZ line, but no one fucking has it.
So I looked up "Caves of Legend" and found it immediately.

Give me a moment to be creative and I’ll hazard a guessLet me know if you need any hints on that one. I don't think it's a commonly played one.
I remember you telling us about this at one point, but I cannot for the life of me remember the game.SIDE QUEST:
I don't think I'll ever get here in time to get one so here's a contribution. The only game my mom ever played, and she got INTO it. Hand drew out a full map, made her own strategy guide...it was crazy how much she liked it.

I have mentioned it before, yes.I remember you telling us about this at one point, but I cannot for the life of me remember the game.
I believe it is the SNES port of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In the image, you see the boss battle between General Kenobi and General Grevious. They couldn’t capture the droid audience, but they did a fairly good representation of the settingSIDE QUEST:

I was flip flopping between the two systems. It was the HP and item section on the bottom that made me guess SNESClose. It's for the NES.
