For years we were also told the only way to make a living was to go to college. You wouldnt approve an 18 year old a 100k+ mortgage.

All went to hell when it was made so people couldnt declare bankruptcy on student loans and the costs sky rocketed.

It's a predatory system that the people at the top have convinced enough of the working class it is other working class people who are the issue

We need more Luigis!

Considering I haven't touched any of it since high school, I'm very surprised I still retain any of it.

Though honestly, the disdain for Swedish has since mellowed out and just being able to speak/understand another language is cooler. I still like the idea of learning Japanese or something over getting better at Swedish much much more and I haven't actually done anything with that either. :shrug

I bought the Genki books and downloaded a couple apps to help me learn Japanese.

I've put no effort into using them...
