I had prepared this fun alternate ending if the village won:

FINAL DAY — VILLAGE VICTORY

The last fragment falls into place with a soft click.

A silence spreads over the village — not the tense, haunted kind that's gripped it for days, but the deep, contented kind of silence that only comes when something horrible and ancient has been thoroughly defeated.

And then… the earth begins to shake.

The villagers turn to the hills, just in time to see the horizon flooded with cows.

Dozens of them. Maybe hundreds. Galloping. Bellowing. Frenetic. Fren— wait, are those Frenchcows?

They wear tiny berets. One is inexplicably smoking. Another is carrying a baguette.

Someone screams, "C'est une Vache Stampede!"

And as if summoned by the very pun itself, a brilliant flash of arcane light splits the sky.

BOOM.

Standing atop the lead cow, robed in cosmic blue and wielding a staff made of forum posts and forgotten rule clarifications, appears the long-lost sage himself:

Arch Mage VastTheStampede.

You had almost forgotten. He had been left out… twice.

He dismounts dramatically (the cow bows), raising the stone fragments above his head.

"Finally," he intones, "I've been waiting since the pregame thread."

With a swirl of divine magic, the fragments levitate, whirl into a blazing sigil, and fuse into a single glowing seal — the power of which slams shut the gateway to the dark god's prison, forever locking it beneath layers of arcane bureaucracy and passive-aggressive mod notes.

The sky clears.
The evil is vanquished.
The cows disperse.
Someone hands Vash a commemorative mug.

The village is saved.
The god is sealed.
And VashTheStampede is finally part of the game.

One funny situation was when Zell learned from a quest that Kelly was on the village team, then told the town he would share information with them tomorrow if they let him live today.

Instead the town puts a bounty on Kelly forcing zell to kill him and make his own information worthless tomorrow. Lol
Zell was also out here lying about "You put a bounty on a villager" with Tommy, so he wasn't really Mr. Trustable this game.

Some changes I'm considering for next game:

-Make the talisman one-of-a-kind, expensive, and low drop rate.
-Make injuries more common on quests.
-Maybe make a few items that injure other players (don't make them common though).
-Make dark deaths more common (fewer people eligible for rez).
-Allow a fight to continue if the player survives the first exchange with an Enemy but hasn't killed it.
I was thinking maybe adjusting the difficulty scale in a way that barely edging a victory still causes the secondary bad effect to happen. If it's like within 2, you could even lower the difficulty by 1 overall in that case.

I got cursed by rolling a 2

I remember this....I was collateral damage for some reason.

Collateral damage you say? Like Local jumping in front of my spear while I tried to kill the mimic?

The whole day with the bloodbath and ghost Local implicating cg was weird as hell. It already looked like cg and/or Tommy was going to be next to get hunted, but as cg was found as a fanatic, out plan to use his power that day became weird. And like he said, we couldn't talk during the day so there was nothing we could really plan during it.

I had a loud potion already that day and then bought the second. At worst, I thought we could potentially all piled up on someone and force a tie, but then Alu came out and said he had a loud pot too, so that wouldn't have worked either. It would've been a case of a 50/50 on whether cg used his power and what the town thought he did.

But again, couldn't do a thing lol. So I gave the loud pot away for street cred. I started cooking up a better plan to stay alive at least to a kingmaker, or some better alternative of that.

Yeah I was really looking forward to using that power, but we got handcuffed so hard the way it played out. I wish our zombie blacksmith had been able to get us that spear.

And it pretty much looked like the deflected kill was gonna go on Tommy, and I felt he was more useful with the summon ability (LOL). So I took the bullet on that one.

I think Ants said only Alu used his potion, so if Tommy had been able to switch to voting Zell, we could have made that work.

If Zell voted with the town at that point, it would've been 6 vs 5. And there was no reason for him not to do it with the items he had. There was still time for us to kill townies and him too. It wasn't a great situation.

I wouldn't have deserved it really. I didn't do anything special. The 2x talismans + being unable to be killed by acolytes damn near made me invincible.
Talismans definitely need to be either one-per-game or at the very least one-per-person. Being able to stockpile those and just fuck several days votes up is a bit OP.

I mentioned earlier, but basically any item that directly matches an players entire role should be rare.

You guys didn't know it, but Jawneh was holding onto another loud voice potion, and he is the only one that used the one that day lol
My assumption was trying to force a tie for the lead (at 4) or a tie for second (at 3). I figured there was a chance CG didn't use his power so I decided to not use my potion when he was sitting at exactly 4 votes and I assumed FR had used his. Took the shot at leaving it as is.and it paid off that one time.

You guys strategized hard when the situation looked hopeless, and found a way to hedge your bets. It was impressive.

It resulted in useless me (minus the loud voice potion they thought I already used) getting killed immediately while FR was given a bunch of mulligans to use his power.

It ended with the team that should have won winning, but took much longer and wasn't straightforward.

Next time just kill Zell and we'll be good lol
