The village gathers as Alu steps forward, holding the Holy Relic aloft. Its surface glows with divine heat, a heartbeat of light pulsing through the air.

Alu whispers the invocation.
The relic erupts in radiant gold.

"Let the dead be driven into the light."

The energy ripples through the square — pure, searing, undeniable.

But nothing happens.

No unholy shriek. No smoldering corpse revealed. The glow fades. The relic darkens. Its power… spent.

And though the townsfolk stand unharmed, there is no relief — only a growing unease.

Because the relic did reach something.

Far away, beyond the borders of the village, something stirs in the dark.
Its body is cold. Its eyes are empty.
It remembers the light.

But it is no longer here.

It lies in wait, silent and patient — ready to kill the next traveler who wanders too close.

To be fair I have no idea what Im doing in this game compared to wolf
This game ends up being more half strategy half luck. You go on quests and hope you get a lucky item or knowledge..or dead. Even some of the abilities are rather luck based and can shift the tide back and forth. You are kind of along for the ride but you do get some ability to steer things.

Wolf has more strategy and less random. I honestly like this version because it adds so many variables, that it does feel like the games will never go quiet the same way.
