The idea is that if there is a wolf avenger they will always be outed first (since it’s the only wolf type the town actively wants to avoid lynching until the end)

I don't have all the answers. So far the only theories I have for why there was no wolf kill is they attacked the illusionist or there was a successful protection that hasn't come forward (and whoever you are, I can't blame you for staying low).

If you are the Illusionist and have Quagmire disguised, you WANT him dead IMO. That way the entire town can think that the solo killer is dead and you can just silently sit back and tag people indefinitely while the town hunts wolves thinking you are dead.

The only thing in the back of my head that bothers me is that if you are Quagmire, and you are the Illusionist about to be killed, why not kill whoever you have disguised night 1? Especially if they are voting for you. But he might not have been online when the votes hit the threshold, I wasn’t.

Occams razor says Quagmire was probably the real Illusionist. That’s what I think.

If Quagmire was illusioned, he would have been disguised before Ben's check on him. Thus he would have showed different team either way.

So Ben had the same odds of funding the target or the targeter.

I don't think it's outside the wheel house we still have an illusionist running around.

I wouldn't say they could tag indefinitely. As soon as tagged person dies the gig is up, is it not?

I naturally checked Zell last night after all the noise yesterday, and didn’t really feel like I was a target. I also made sure to reveal my info before too many posts got off so bad theories wouldn’t be crafted and ran with. I thought I was checking Zell against Quagmire (which I realized afterwards wouldn’t be fruitful) but luckily the check applied to Vash since he was the one to die the previous night. So it ended up being pretty useful, especially now that Vash is back alive too.

voting for me while under shadow is not a good plan. even if you weren't a wolf, the wolves are not going to risk the Headhunter winning. We need to lynch a wolf here.

For me the last three are Jawneh, Kat, dimmerwit.

Here’s why: Obviously I was bothered by the vote yesterday. Why did the village settle upon the person who claimed to be provable, instead of the person who didn’t? Why were so many of the votes people with weak claims of their own?

The easiest explanation is that dimmerwit is a wolf, and the wolves therefore thought that Quagmire was actually a marksman when they got Ben’s info. They knew dimmerwit was eventually dead anyways but might as well take some villagers along with him.

The wolves wouldn’t want the solo killer dead immediately, they need his help killing villagers. They thought they were actually bagging a marksman.
