This adventure is set along the Sword Coast region of Faerûn, on an island called Stormwreck Isle about 5 miles off the coast, located near where the Sword Mountains abut the sea. You have bartered your way onto a merchant vessel scheduled to deliver supplies to an enclave on the island, one rumored to hold much knowledge and insight for adventurers trying to find their way in the Nine Realms. Yet tales from sailors speak of how perilous this voyage can be, even with how close the island lies to the coast. Stories abound of ships dashed upon the jagged rocks, with all souls meeting a watery end.
You and the other adventurers now aboard this cargo ship each have your own motivations for wanting to visit the Stormwreck Isle, but your fates have now converged together.
