Oh it's absolutely a terrible parody, lol, but it's a fairly accurate poke at the entire Fast franchise.Man, first minute or so and the humor instantly felt like one of those really bad parody movies like Epic Movie and Date Movie, so I checked Wiki:
"written and directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer."
Yup... that checks out.
Same, I watched the first 3 because...I'm not really sure why...it certainly wasn't the storyline, but I watched them, then I was good. No more. How it's gotten from stealing DVD players to whatever they are now, super cops or super spys or some crap like that...beyond me.I can honestly say I never got into those movies… The very first one was enough for me. Everything after that was just a poor attempt to recreate the first movie, banking on teenagers with their first 90-something Civic or Eclipse to come watch them in between buying stick-on air intakes for their car.
Very accurate name for it, lol. That had to have been torture! At my barbershop, we recently watched every one of them (aside from X obviously). We called it "The Slow and The Agonizing". I can't lie and say I wasn't entertained by random silly action quite often.
Tell that to the directors, lolLet the series die, thanks.
Family don't got time for seatbelts. Family goes fast and drives cars.I'm mostly disappointed they didn't call the last one Fas10 Your Seatbelts!
