In my experience: People who don't want to be managers make the best managers. People who want to be managers make the worst managers. Something about how people who desire management are probably doing it to avoid/supersede responsibilities, not go after the problems. The ones who don't want anything to do with it knows what it actually takes. It's tolling, stressful, and not exactly rewarding to anyone who's empathetic. I have been in such a better headspace ever since I stopped being responsible for managing others. To my homies out there stuck managing when they don't want to but they need to to make ends meet, this ones for you. 🍻 Hang in there.

A few years back, I was reporting to a director and being pulled into leadership meetings despite not having any people reporting to me.

They since restructured and inserted a manager between me and the director, and I suddenly don't have to give presentations on/explain how things work to vice presidents. That's my bosses job.

I have less stress now.

My managers love and hate me. They love that I’m the best at my job, but they hate how I constant call them out for not challenging corporate on the staffing headcount model and getting us to be better staffed

AI assured me this is a compelling argument

**Dear Werewolves,**

I understand the gravity of the situation and the urgency to eliminate threats. However, I urge you to consider the strategic advantage of keeping me, the Witch, alive.

**Key Points:**

1. **Solo Killer Threat**: The solo killer is a significant danger to all of us. Unlike you, I have the unique ability to eliminate this threat during the night. By keeping me alive, we can work together to neutralize this common enemy.

2. **Mutual Benefit**: My survival directly benefits you. With the solo killer out of the picture, your chances of winning increase. My powers can be a valuable asset in ensuring our collective safety.

3. **Trust and Cooperation**: I am committed to working with you. My goal is to ensure the survival of those who can contribute to the greater good. By sparing me, you gain a powerful ally who can help turn the tide in our favor.

4. **Strategic Advantage**: Eliminating me now would be a short-sighted move. Consider the long-term benefits of having a Witch on your side. Together, we can outmaneuver the solo killer and secure a stronger position.
