In my experience: People who don't want to be managers make the best managers. People who want to be managers make the worst managers. Something about how people who desire management are probably doing it to avoid/supersede responsibilities, not go after the problems. The ones who don't want anything to do with it knows what it actually takes. It's tolling, stressful, and not exactly rewarding to anyone who's empathetic. I have been in such a better headspace ever since I stopped being responsible for managing others. To my homies out there stuck managing when they don't want to but they need to to make ends meet, this ones for you.
Hang in there.
