So the reason I was so sus on Ben, was when he was talking about changing roles. His scenario was impossible, because he wouldn't become farmer until this night phase, and he wouldn't be able to become priest until day 3 at the earliest.

So I pmed Zell a bunch asking if he would be clear to anyone changing roles that they still spend day 1 as their original role, and he essentially said he would try his best to have each player understand.

So that seemed to me that at the very least his story was full of shit. Thinking in hindsight now, since the solos don't have a job change mechanism, maybe that's where he's sitting so the time to change discussion wouldn't have happened at all.

And of course, Zell cannot confirm or deny anything at all this game on the off chance someone becomes a dead visitor.

Considering how much time Ben spent on the graphic, I have a hard time believing he doesn't understand how the system works.
Well he specifically said he switched from Violinist to Farmer, and that on Day 2 he will become priest. But the timing of that is impossible.

Hmm I missed that. Interesting.
Violinist is useless on night 1. While it might have been more useful if I was patient and changed to Spirit Seer /Detective, but I'm not, and figured everyone was going to switch roles anyway.

My plan, should I survive the night, is currently to change to Priest tonight. Whether I then water anyone tomorrow or keep moving up that tree, unsure. Assuming somehow I not talking to Kat in the dead thread.

I posted right after that he can't change that quick, but seemingly everyone just passed over it. I feel I should have pushed it more, or maybe pointed it out again in my dousing post.

I also didn't buy his explanation of why he dumped off the seer abilities. Like violinist is a very useful seer role.

I stuck on priest. I'd didn't seem probably to get far enough in the path to get anywhere useful.

Maybe could have used my water better, then drop to farmer to access the seer tree

FR protects Benzine for saying FR is guilty. Jon protects Vash for getting two townies killed with a fake read.

The FR one I can see. If Benzine was really town and potentially a seer type getting him killed could make FR look guilty.
Good point. And redirecting to vash is a good shot. He's clearly not town one way or another.

So I'm guessing they used the shadow right away just to get rid of the downside. And maybe targeted because you are a generally good player and can rally towns. Like I don't think they had a seer, and decided the librarian was all that powerful a role to take out

Unless Tommy is a wolf in which case he said "fuck this guy we must kill him"

But yeah.

Using the Shadow Wolf on Day 1 when the town is often hesitant to lynch can also be looked at as effectively just ensuring that somebody gets killed and there's not always a specific target, persay.

also hi.

I can also be used to lynch the fool on Day 1!

Sadly that was not me this game.
On one hand, I was very amused that I was lynched Day 1 as the Fool in that game. On the other, I had plans and things I wanted to try but that was not an opportunity I had.

It's also very possible the Shadow Wolf is switching to a 0MP wolf use, so used the ability immediately on Day 1 before they transitioned.

Yeah, you might as well. If Vash is involved then that would be obvious on his part. It also could have been a situation where there's an alpha wolf who sent a message saying "use Vash's targets and lets get a free lynch out of this"

Has there ever actually been a game where the Shadow and Alpha both existed? Don't recall ever seeing it in use, so would be neat if it finally was.
