I don't think anybody would do it intentionally, but somebody killed at the last minute could cause problems.

Voting in posts is an option since nobody would have to go tally the votes manually. It would mean people couldn't vote without triggering a notification, which could be good or bad depending on your opinion of last minute vote switching.
