I think it's a mix bag on people hating in laws. I assume cis straight women get the brunt of over reaching mother in laws, but I have no scientific evidence to back that up.

I love my mother in law, but we are not remotely the same kind of person. We are not into the same kinds of things, but we get along fine. I think a lot of what makes an in law relationship work is if the child of the person is stepping in to deal with their own parents.

I mean it used to be a lot more common that people hated their spouse too.

But yeah some people hate their in-laws. I don't hate mine though. My mom died long before I even met my wife, so no overbearing mother-in-law for my wife.

I'd think of it more as mostly a "haha like any of us are financially well off enough to know anyone who lives in California." I had a couple of friends try to move out there, but after a few months they left, one went to Michigan, one went back to Boston.

To my understanding, unless you're a YouTube family VLOGging your lives every moment, those giant houses that're now kindling are a bit out of the average price range.

I've had 3 sets of inlaws. 66% of them have been pretty self-absorbed and Boomery. Wait, actually 100% of them are Boomery, just the current ones are at least tolerable.

Lol my wife's whole family has been in California for a long time, just not directly in LA.

She has multiple friends in LA though and we know of at least one person who needed to evaluate.

If you bought recently, you're rich. If you bought a generation ago you were decently off at the time and now have enough equity to count as rich... Unless your home was caught in the fire.

You can also see who still has to skip to end the phase with "Wolfbot unskipped".

Skipping will work at night, BUT you won't have the ability to see who still needs to skip.
