Yes it is. Converted is treated like an attack per the thing I just read after somebody posted it.

Conversion attempts are treated like a normal solo attack for the purposes of being blocked.

I think you're probably on the money, yeah.

From the Cult Leader role, it says "If the cult leader is killed, all converted players die." so Vash could not have been the Leader. If he was, other people would have died too. That's why I think it's likely Jon.

I said before and local has said it again - I think the wolves targeted the cult leader and know who they are and are going to have to tell the town.

The wolves are going to be converted before the town. We are whittling down the possible town members. The cult leader is by far the biggest threat to the wolves.

I hope Jon is a wolf and not the cult leader.

Then we see Vash die and he’s a cult member. Being made into a cult member is the same as being attacked.

This implies that Benzine was targeted for cult, Fools redirected to Vash. Vash was revealed to be the cult member.

So, Vash wasn’t protected. Jon is lying about protecting him.

It is definitely possible that Vash was culted night 1. But we have no other evidence for any other situation, so you’d have to convince people that a guess is more beneficial than this theory. I’m always all ears.
