So when we've used our MP, we can move into a role that uses 0 MP and still use abilities, right? I used my MP protecting Vash last night, but I can slide into a role like, say, doctor or loudmouth that uses 0 MP and still use the abilities, right?

I did the weed thing, so lol. Just so I'm not just shitposting solely in Vash's produce thread, I did convert up to something last night. I'm not going to make it overly obvious what, but duh.

That's my understanding. And Zell did clarify that the doc takes 0 MP.

Aura: Good
Can protect any other player from death at night from normal attacks by evil/solo roles. Cannot protect themselves. Unlimited use. Uses their ability by PMing the name of the person they wish to protect. The doctor will be notified if their protection is successful, but nobody else will be. MP Usage: 0

So the caveat is that you just can't use it on yourself.

It should probably be everyone's end-game plan to convert to Farmer after they've used their power, and then move to Doctor so that you can start protecting someone at night.

I was a strong villager but I got my shit off so I’ve already downgraded and am heading the the value roles. Did you know that once you set the ritualist spell, and change roles, it stays active? How about that @Local Hero (who also needs to reveal some info).
