If FR or Local are the RK, we win.

Let's say Alu is the RK. He and Ben perfectly coordinate their kills, but due to protection by canadaguy I would live as well as FR, Ben, and Alu.

BUT, FR has two votes. So even in a 2v2 the town wins. We could still lynch out Ben the next day. Jail Alu. Game over.

Right, that's just why I assume he'd get paired in a cupid game he's in.

He's the most 4d chess wolf player, who understands the rules because he wrote them. I just find it hard to believe someone wouldn't take that opportunity when given the chance.

cg and Alu would make a quaint 'polite' couple. dimmerwit and Fool's would give a net average intelligence. You and I are 100 and 101 so basically married, Local.

Could be a polycule and everyone is fucking everyone.

THE LEGEND OF LOCAL HERO


The battlefield stretched farther than the eye could see — a scorched wasteland where dusk and dawn blurred into one blood-orange sky. Smoke twisted in the air. Shadows danced along the broken stones.


Local Hero stood alone in the centre, cloak torn, shirtless (obviously), chest gleaming with a mix of sweat and narrative importance. In one hand, a shield chipped from a hundred close calls. In the other, a rusted farming sickle turned battle-scarred blade.


The enemies were endless.


The Berserk Werewolf came first — lunging in a blur of muscle and fury. Local parried the claws with the flat of his blade, spun, and kicked the beast into a conveniently placed ravine.


The Shadow Wolf slinked next from the smoke, veiled in whispers. "You can't fight what you can't see," it hissed.
"I can't hear what isn't interesting," Local snapped, and drop-kicked it into the void.


Then came a whole pack at once: the Jelly Wolf, the Voodoo Wolf, the Toxic Wolf, the Nightmare Wolf.
Local leapt into the air, shouting, "TOO MANY SUBCLASSES!" and sliced clean through them with a single spinning attack.


He dodged a black potion hurled by the Alchemist, sidestepped fire from the Arsonist, and headbutted the Cult Leader so hard the cult just disbanded.


The Instigator tried to recruit him.
"I already fight for something," Local growled. "Myself."
Then he suplexed the guy.


The Fool tried to confuse him, claiming "I win if I lose!"
Local Hero just stared and said, "I've heard that one before."
Then threw him into a tree.


One by one, they fell.
The Cupid, still heartbroken.
The Evil Detective, mid-comparison chart.
Even the Illusionist tried to trick him — but Local Hero simply punched every version of the Illusionist he saw. One of them screamed. That was the right one.


He stood, finally, triumphant. Alone. Victorious.


He looked up to the sky.


The light was warm.


The silence was beautiful.


And then—


A snap.


A rope.


And darkness.



He opened his eyes.


Not on the battlefield, but in the village square. The crowd stood around him, faces full of doubt, fear, and finality. The dream had been nothing more than the last gasp of a dying mind. His life hadn't flashed before his eyes — just the fantasy of what he could've done, if only they'd let him.


Someone whispered, "He was brave, wasn't he?"


No one replied.


Local Hero has died. He was the Bodyguard.

And in the end, nobody had his back.
