Uhhh... 10:40am ish? Passed out again until 11 something and finally crawled out a bit in the afternoon to make my coffee. It's nice when the teenager also sleeps in and the younger is self sufficient. Sure, I was up until past 2am thanks to yesterday's chinese buffet not agreeing with my digestive system, but odds are I would've still slept and gotten up around the same time.

I think around 8:30. I didn't work today so I didn't pay a ton of attention, but I remember thinking I was barely going to catch the end of the Wolf day.

My alarm on work days is set for 8:34 unless I have a meeting before 9, which I try really hard to avoid.

There was an alarm for 9:30, then an hour from there, and finally a but after 11 I grabbed my phone to start reading the day3 wolf novella. Still laying in bed too.

Went to bed at 2am after getting my youngest son back to sleep. He woke up again at 7:30am. I almost managed to get him down again but then my daughter came into my bedroom and pooched that.

I just took them both downstairs and let my wife sleep another 3 hours while my brain tried to crawl out through my eyes. I got an hour nap after she woke up, though.

My cat is old and can't jump or climb, so she has a cat door to the backyard which she cannot escape. This morning at 5 am she saw another cat in the backyard and decided to go scream at it while my bedroom windows were open. Of course I felt obligated to go make sure she wasn't in over her head and trying to fight when she's old and "attacks" everything by bopping it on the head.

So 5 AM.:annoyed

Edit: obviously she's fine and quite proud of herself for screaming and scaring away the other cat.

Elder cat says “Get off my lawn!” and ruins person Kat’s morning. Sounds like a cartoon pilot, or I’m just stoned early.

What does a usual weekend look like from smacktard in SA
Gamin' while the wife sleeps in (she's pseudo-Arab so is a night owl) then chillin with her and watching a show or movie at home. It's comfy.

This weekend is a bit different. Tutoring for an hour today then Oppenheimer with the bride.

Nonce.

4:40 today, alarm was for 5, but I almost never need an alarm, I have a pretty fucking good internal clock, which can be annoying when I have a late night out and actually want to sleep in.

My kid also woke up at 6 and while he does his own thing in the morning usually, it was nice to have breakfast and tea before I had to make his stuff

When did the technical course become a thing?
i think it's only in the country i live atm

I heard that the qualifications and process is a lot more in-depth than what’s required here in the states.
yes and very expensive. plus, there seems to be months you have to wait to take your test due to the backlog. if you fail you have to wait sooo long again. ugh.

Yo this makes me feel a lot better about my impending test to finally get a license at 40.

I’ll make you feel even better. If you live in a highly trafficked area, think about all the money you’ve saved on insurance claims, state registration, gas, maintenance, and everything else associated with having a vehicle.

BIG savings. YUGE.

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to adding a car insurance bill every month but there's a lot more good that outweighs the bad for me right now.

Still wish I lived in a real city with actual public transportation. Or better yet, a walkable city.
