it’s very funny that the judge so readily believed someone admitting to being a corrupt cop. really makes you think
i don’t have any information. i haven’t PMed anyone because i dont have any hot goss to share. ive been keeping a low profile because i dont have any traps to protect myself with this game and i wanted to stay alive lol

@VashTheStampede some clarification on the Dirty Cop. If they were recruited by the mob, would they become a member of the mob, as in a person the town needs to kill off, and they have mob kill powers now too, or do they just get a Junior Mobster pin to put on their fedora?

I’ve been saying for the past several games that if I get Priest I’m splashing shortkut with the very first post I make.
Okay yeah I should have figured.
I think a priest role would actually for thematically in this game, but I almost feel they'd be a bad priest, who has the power to make a mafia look good to the gumshoe via absolving their sins

They would need to be eliminated with the rest of the mob. They would vote on kills with the rest of the mob. They would retain their ability to kill or make an arrest if they had not used them.

There is a priest role to be unlocked but it works different than the wolf games.
So @Local Hero , I'd like to ask you to share who the Dirty Cop is as well, or whoever the person PMing you was. There's a very good chance that the Dirty Cop is either still neutral with roughly equally likely chance that they are Good or Evil. Alu was dangling a name of a person over us before and wasn't fessing up, which could mean it was the Dirty Cop. As for Cole, last night would've been his only chance to get them, but depending on how the order of PMs/actions worked, he might've not even be able to.
Also in case the Dirty Cop is aligned Evil, they have a very good reason to off Local right away for knowing too much.

I'll repeat the Dirty Cop's claim that they protected Cole last night.

I don't think the timeline of events, or the events themselves really supports the dirty cop being turned to the mob. As is, Cole got Alu arrested, shutting off his investigations for that night. Cole was then apparently protected by the dirty cop that same night, and Alu was killed the next day. On the same night Cole was killed by the mob, one mafia member died via vigilante and another survived an attempted kill from the dirty cop. That kind of move doesn't really make sense at all if they had been turned during the extremely small window Alu had - the turn would have had to precede either action and that just doesn't gel with how two very valuable actions were actually used.
As is I'm leaning against convicting Zell, I think, but I still want to think a little more about it. Once we've settled FQ's role tomorrow, I'm much more interested in some other names that were on Cole's final list with an addendum that I find what I laid out above to be so obvious that I feel Jawneh is trying to divert attention from the mob and waste time.

Quick thing to discuss, we have a confirmed judge, gumshoe, and vigilante. Which means we can only have one of good cop or lawyer. One but not both.
We have a self confessed, privately, to me at least, cleaned up dirty cop.
Mafia have a Donna, consigliere, cleaner, and, probably but not confirmed, button pusher, with the extra first night kill. If they do have a button pusher, then no mob lawyer.
Tommy and Kat could have been the townie lawyer, but we can't know.

If that is true, then they have blown both their loads and are now only a body. If they're a good guy, having another known townie out in the open is good. But if not, then I question that persons loyalties. There's only positives in coming clean. If nothing else we can arrest them and have them officially claim their role.

Also I do want to point out that even if the Dirty Cop is named, I'm not saying we need to murderate them next. If the FQ Donna claim passes mustard, we still have the 4th mobster to find. If the game doesn't end after the 4th is gone, then we know that the Dirty Cop was investigated by Alu.

I'd love to say for brownie points with the town, but it does sound a bit too much of a stretch to waste a kill at this point to try to play both sides. I concede the mafia affiliation.
Still being neutral though, that we do not know and cannot know. That info should definitely be made available today. We dont want to be in a situation where we're trying to hunt them down as well.

Today Local needs to know who the vigilante and Dirty (now good) Cop are. It’s important that we have 3 townies who all know who each other are going into this evening. It will likely be two townies after tonight. If we can head into tomorrow night with one mafia member alive and two known townies the game is mathematically unloseable. So let’s do that.

They wouldn't. At that point as Vash stated they only can win by winning with the Mafia. To kill the Don would be self sabotage. Also if as Vash also stated they are then in a chat with the Mafia would they not co-ordinate their kill to double up the mafias kill on that night?
Its unlikely in the extreme that the dirty cop was turned and if they were for them to then take a hit at The Don rather than work with the Mafia to kill of someone else.
I think all the talk about the Dirty Cop and what they have or haven't done is an attempt to distract from the fourth Mafia member. They've focussed in on that to point us all towards killing them to buy themselves more time to win the game.
There's 8 players left, we are quite certain that FQ is the Don. We have a second Mafia member left.
Of the remaining 6 townies, we can confirm that we have a Vigilante through game actions, we have a Judge through game actions and then we can confirm through trusting LH that there is a bad cop who at this stage wishes to win with the town by outing the Don.
@VashTheStampede can you confirm that the Dirty Cop win condition means both the town and the DC win? Or does it mean only the DC wins?
If it means both the Town and DC win then @Local Hero and Dirty Cop I suggest you keep your information secret as long as necessary so that the mafia can't push us into wasting time putting the cop on trial while they pick us off.
