It's janky fun. Races are a little messy because the AI has no regard for its safety, and they collide with oncoming traffic all the time. Corners come at you with no warning, both you and the AI will slam into walls at extremely high speeds. Physics are a mess. Hard to tell if they were going for an arcade feel or simulation feel. Audio is really compressed, everything sounds slightly muffled. Lots of cars to unlock. Lots of tracks. It looks surprisingly good upscaled by the PS3.

Cops are a total pain in the ass.

It's not something that will ever get placed in best games lists, but fub can be had. I tried the 6th game that came out on the Dreamcast and I hated it. Test Drive Unlimited is pretty good, though.
