Can't say I never had an issue. At worst, putting in jeans might get them slightly bunched up, but that's it.

I hate shopping for all clothes because of this. God forbid we just use measurement sizes. If they want woman to not feel bad about their number just switch and do metric sizes in America and imperial sizes in the places that do metric.

Men’s clothing is much better in terms of this, but still not as accurate as most women think. Especially with jeans and t-shirts. The only thing that simplifies it is a smaller discrepancy. For example, with plain crew neck t-shirts, I’m either a large or extra large depending on how the shoulders/sleeves are cut and the material used. Throw the wrong kind of large shirt in the dryer and it becomes an extra smedium, throw the wrong kinda XL shirt in and it becomes a large or appears 2XL and doesn’t shrink at all leaving you swimming in it. I absolutely hate being asked to grab something like a cami for my girl at the store… the elasticity always ends up screwing me over, and that’s something men don’t have to deal with.

I feel like stretchy stuff is actually easier because it's more forgiving. I buy small camis everywhere, and sometimes they're a little tighter or looser, but they always fit reasonably well.

100% agreed!! Just make it somewhat reasonable, going in looking for a size and ending up three sizes away from it is insanity!

Bumping this to say I've started trying out boxer briefs. Mostly a non-issue in terms of getting used to the feel, the only weird feeling is when I'm wearing gym/running shorts. Those are looser and it's just an odd combination of feelings so far.

Seems to be a decent change overall though.
