Multi Ubisoft's 2005 King Kong adaptation is the kind of movie Tie-In Game Jurassic Park: Trespasser wanted to be.

I wouldn't really think it's fair to say "that's what Trespasser wanted to be" when it's more that Trespasser set the stage for anything like this to happen.

Trespasser was also released in 1998, compared to 2005. King Kong to to benefit a lot more from tech discoveries to make it work better.

Though I admit Trespasser went very hard on their unique mechanics. The individual hand-control was real unique, and while clunky, I haven't really found anything else that made it work just as well. At least not until recent VR titles.

(Can you tell I really loved Trespasser. :paranoid )
