Resolved The new colour choices for forum only games

I noticed the colour scheme of forum only games was updated.

I use the dark theme for GW - I'm not sure how others feel but I find the dark red very difficult to read with the dark theme.

Could this be looked at for accessibility reasons?

They're playing around with it to get more wolf themed and such. I had the same issue on mobile, but on computer it's fine. Definitely would be good to get it looking nice on both, though.

Oh I see - it's a new template that can be applied anywhere, it's just applied by default there. So yeah that would be a template change.

I’ve disabled the theme for the time being until Crystal is able to tweak the colors some more. She mentioned in another thread that’ll happen later on.

I also noticed that we have the ability to turn it off manually in there as well (I just managed to do that before you disabled it). So even after there's a working color scheme people can turn it off if they prefer one of the originals.

Correct, but it *might* override your settings again when you exit the forum and return since the setting is intended to override whatever the members select as their preferred style.

Conversely, I also managed to turn it on for every forum in my tests as well. So if you really want nothing but wolf all the time you'll be able to pretend it's everywhere.

Yeah, it’ll remain as a user-selectable style no different than the light or dark style, I just disabled it from overriding styles in FOG so everyone isn’t straining while it’s still a work in progress.

It’s no problem at all. It’ll be a safe bet to leave it user-selectable until the members come to a consensus on the style anyway. Those interested in having that style can still use it, and others on the fence can check it out periodically to see if it’s easier to read.
