You should have voted for him then. I couldn’t consider his list because I hadn’t played over half of them

I'm not telling you to change your vote, but I don't believe that to be a good reason. I've only played 3 of the games on my list. I've hardly played any of the games people have drafted. If I used the "I haven't played any of these games" excuse, I wouldn't be able to vote at all. That would apply to thr NES and SNES votes, too.

I pick games based on notoriety and how much I would like to play, as well as how much I enjoyed the ones I have played. Hence why you never see RPGs on my drafts.

Also, in regards to voting:,

decide which of these groups of games you would rather play, if they were the only Genesis games available to you

Yeah there's nothing wrong with it, I just don't see the logic in it. What if you draft a bunch of games that turn out do be crud? Would you want to be stuck on a desert island playing CRUD??

I don't believe any of my games that I picked can be considered crud.

Now, if I had to draft only games that I have played, THEN you'd see crud.

I don't recommend playing Hard Drivin'.

I drafted and voted for games I would enjoy playing. If I don’t know the game, it might not be my cup of tea even if people claim it is a top 10 genesis game. It’s why NBA Jam is so high on my list and why I took Streets of Rage and Golden Axe back to back even though they are similar style games

NBA Jam is a blast. Highly recommended if you even remotely like basketball.

Biggest problem is no Michael Jordan on the Bulls and no Shaq on the Magic.

IIRC they gave Nick Anderson Shaq's stats, since I believe Shaq was in the Arcade version

Both MJ and Shaq owned the rights to themselves so a simple NBA license wouldn't be enough to get them in the game. When growing up, I thought it was odd we got Pippen and some rando on the Bulls instead Pippen and Jordan.

According to Wikipedia, a special version of NBA Jam was made with Jordan and Gary Payton on their own team, which was made for Jordan and Payton's personal enjoyment. I assume it's an arcade only version.

I never played a lot of Genesis but there's legit 6 games there I enjoyed.
