I don't get itThere are small jokes that I expected people to make specific reactions or comments about that have gone unmentioned, but the fact that no one commented on Tommy wanting to go to Rainforest Cafe hurts the most
I had no idea Margaritaville was a restaurant. I thought it was just a song/nickname for a vacation spot/way of life.Christina went to Margaritaville, which, in addition to being a Jimmy Buffet song, is also an over the top themed restaurant chain.
Rainforest Cafe is also an over the top themed restaurant chain.
I see then as being very similar in how absurd they both are and I thought it was funny Tommy was going to flee to a different, but similarly absurd themed restaurant.
One final chapter to the Local Town saga.
The Mob came to town to find something.
@Ben, the Godfather, wanted to secure a future for his children, Erik, Eric, and Tommy.
Just when they got settled, disaster struck. A Vampire came in the night and robbed Ben of his most treasure son, @canadaguy, whose only crime was belonging to a family who loved him too much.
Things only got worse from there. After losing one son to a literal monster, he lost another to a figurative monster. The Agency weaseled their way into his inner circle and corrupted @shortkut. He became confused, didn't know to whom he could turn, spiralled deeper into his tangled web of lies. He turned against the only family who truly cared for him, and was rejected by the Agency he had thrown everything away for.
Heartbroken, Ben couldn't go on. He gave up his power and let @Tommy Boy take over the family. Tommy's first order of business? Take out his own brother.
When the family came to Local Town, they thought they would find opportunity. Opportunity to make something greater than themselves.
As the noose choked the life from Ben's body, he realized that he already had made something greater than himself. Three beautiful boys. And in his pursuit to build them a future, he lost everything.
-----
Years pass. Nobody from The Agency remembers the week of hell the town went through back then.
Ben, Erik, and Tommy were buried in unmarked graves. The graves as lost and forgotten as those that occupied them were in their final days.
One person remembers. And as he stands over their rotting corpses, he remembers how @Christina took away his mortality. He remembers how The Agency took away everything else. He remembers watching Nanalan on Papa's knee.
And he will have his revenge.
That's the girl from those AT&T ads, BTW
Come on man, Margaritaville even made a cameo in Jurassic World (and Jimmy Buffett himself is running from the danger while carrying drinks).I had no idea Margaritaville was a restaurant. I thought it was just a song/nickname for a vacation spot/way of life.
That's actually really goodChristina went to Margaritaville, which, in addition to being a Jimmy Buffet song, is also an over the top themed restaurant chain.

It's my favorite out of the World trilogy, perhaps because it's basically just a modernization of the original Jurassic Park plot. Very formulaic, but it worked.Still have not watched that movie.
I'd assume I'm the only one phoning it in and taking the easy route with those story chunks. Fairly sure Local wrote his up himself.I'll be honest, I started skimming a lot of the big text posts in here because I just assume they're AI generated at this point. If all that was hand-crafted honest-to-god writing I'm gonna go back and give it the attention it deserves.
All of my stories were handwritten. I asked Ben to provide an AI photo for the game over post.I'll be honest, I started skimming a lot of the big text posts in here because I just assume they're AI generated at this point. My proof is that they're laced with swiping related typos that I then have to go through and edit out lolSo of my stories were handwritten. I asked Ben to provide an AI photo for the game over post.

Also why I try to stick them in quote blocks so they don't flood the page.
I assumed some of Ben's D&D posts were AI generated, but with some flavor added. Are others doing it, too?I wasn't meaning just GMs, and I'm fairly sure I read all your stuff anyway
I've seen a bit here and there.I assumed some of Ben's D&D posts were AI generated, but with some flavor added. Are others doing it, too?
Started to be more so towards the end, with an almost direct correlation between my wanting to fully write for myself falling off when I stopped ADHD meds. Those first couple months after just starting on them, when it was 100% Ben, were when you got dick daggers, telepathic watercolors and Carl.I assumed some of Ben's D&D posts were AI generated, but with some flavor added. That's valid, and especially pertinent to wolf games where you're trying to glean information from every post. A couple of times in Local's game I neglected to include a summary of the faked Priest reads and had to go back to edit it.I've seen a bit here and there.
Not that it matters. I think AI is a useful tool in situations exactly like this. I used it quite a bit as a formatting tool in my D&D campaigns and plan to do so again very soon. (But I'm proud to say my silly Mafia stories were 100% Vashbrain)
I was just making a "full disclosure" post that when I'm dicking around at work, and I see a chunk with that telltale non-human parlance, odds are I'm gonna miss anything important crammed in there, from a wolf-play standpoint.
RIP Carland Carl.
I'm remembering now some AI stuff posted as news stories in wolf threads, and yeah, I skip over all that stuff too.I was just making a "full disclosure" post that when I'm dicking around at work, and I see a chunk with that telltale non-human parlance, odds are I'm gonna miss anything important crammed in there, from a wolf-play standpoint.
Oh man, the good old days. Takes me back. This whole time I thought you'd used AI to write a bit of that too. Not because it *seemed* like AI, but because there was SO much writing you did.Started to be more so towards the end, with an almost direct correlation between my wanting to fully write for myself falling off when I stopped ADHD meds. It's the best Jurassic movie after the original Jurassic Park. Its dumb fun. It's like an amusement park ride.Still have not watched that movie.
Post in thread 'The Agency Day 6' https://gwforums.com/threads/the-agency-day-6.2879/post-193527Goddamnit i just took the time to go back and read all of Local's stories and I had already read them
