Superman

I'm not a big DC fan, least of all of Superman, but I'm actually excited to watch this. I almost got pulled in with Henry Cavill's run, but for all the cool moments I feel like they fumbled that so badly.

James Gunn is great though, and this already feels like the characters are grounded and relatable. Actually, I guess Superman is literally grounded at the start...

Krypto is going to get so much love.

Not sure how I feel about Nicholas Hoult as Lex, but we’ll see. Ms. Maisel should be a good Lois, but there are a bunch of extra heroes in this movie so I hope it doesn’t feel forced

My main concern is them trying to cram too much in. I don't mind Nicholas Hoult simply because he's a good actor.

Either way, I'm definitely going to watch a James Gunn Superman film. I'd be very surprised if I didn't enjoy it, but I have hopes that it's more than that and really sets a tone of DC films upping their game.
