If everyone starts skipping it would almost certainly be done. It's a drawn out process though, so they need to start using skips.

The only way it could have worked was an alliance between the city and corpo, but the city was so cocky that they would win, that never was a realistic option. Now their hubris will be their hamartia

Corpos chose to let RNG and luck decide. If you all killed someone who wasn't me at night and my spores hit Local, we could have won.

But the decision was "we're all exposed by an exploit, let's make sure the town doesn't win and see if the odds work out for us specificall"

And, funnily enough, had Tubby not exposed everyone it was decently likely Local could have targeted one of us next, meaning the town would have been in better shape, especially if he chose me to be the next target.

The only way corpo could have been to have an alliance with the city to hit local twice and then to work with local to remove the town. The city was too arrogant to even consider they might lose. Maybe corpo would have had a chance if Alu lived, but once he was killed it was over for our chances
