For what it's worth - I've come around to the poll idea.

Raine and I were the only ones who seemed to have anything against it but we analyze the shit out of voting patterns.

I think the benefit of it for the GM and more casual players outweighs my desire.
I can understand that. And it makes sense. For me, it's more work managing the vote POST than the actual game lol.

I still don't know my opinion on the polls...

...but I know in my next Mafia we'll do polls for arrests and classic post voting for trials. Should help with the structure.
Speaking of.... that's happening.... when again?

I actually like the fact that the voting timing is still semi-hidden. The things that I DON'T like are the fact that muted players could theoretically still vote and players with additional votes can't use them directly.

Well the two options for Preacher are:

-Make public that X person has an additional vote as soon as they vote and everyone should factor that in

OR

-Preacher becomes unprovable, and I count their extra votes on the sly behind the scenes

You create an evil preacher that gets counted on the backend and a good preacher that gets counted out in the open.

We need to keep track of deaths and only award it to the person with the most deaths. If someone else suddenly gets more deaths then they get it.
Most deaths, or fewest average days alive per game?

We could do a few categories:
  • Most deaths
  • Dies the fastest
  • Most lynched
  • Died the most ways
  • Kills themselves the most
It'd be annoying to keep track of who should have them though.

Yes, I fucked up one of the seer type roles and they outed everyone.

The funny part is I also fucked up one of the corpo roles so literally anyone can still win.

And I've lost my mind.

I was considering average deaths per games played too as there's some folks who skip a game or two here and there.

Dies fastest doesn't really apply unless you go with who was killed the fastest my priest or gunner. Suicide not counting.

Most lynched and died most ways are nice for sure.

As amusing as the suicide one is, do we want to encourage that?

It would def take someone a good hour or two to look through all the threads for folks died, but after that it's just keeping up a doc somewhere. I almost started it, but then I saw I had like half an hour before work so I gave up lol. No promises I'll feel like doing it again tomorrow.

I mean for people like TD and Raine and Cole who seem to always die within the first day or two. Most people tend to be dead by the end of the game, but that's different than consistently dying early.

As amusing as the suicide one is, do we want to encourage that?
I don't think it'd encourage anyone to do it on purpose, but it'd be funny regardless.

I agree. Zell will possibly recall I told the wolves I was working with to target roles, not people.

Objectively you didn't have bad protection targets - but unlucky for you I was a wolf and the wolf team was actively trying to go for non-obvious targets.
I'm ACTUALLY thinking the Solo is going to win this... Ironic enough, I fuck up a town role and a corpo role... and the Solo wins. Would be apropos. Lol.
I mean the Solo is also stacked but you know that.
