Sony Recommend me a game to use my new TV/sound bar

I've had the same low-end TV for over a decade, and it was outdated when I bought it. Yesterday I finally broke down and got a new one, along with a nice sound bar. The difference is nothing short of astounding.

What's a PS5 game which would show off both? Although the farting in Bang-on Balls is now much more realistic and immersive, I feel like there's got to be a better game to demonstrate the abilities of my new setup.

Heh... I used to have a projector setup and ordered a soundbar/surround/subwoofer setup so the audio would be better... Without realizing the soundbar was HDMI ARC or whatever the fuck it is, so I couldn't connect it to the projector. Return the soundbar? Hell no. I used it as an excuse to go buy a new 70" 4K TV...

I don't know what I'd consider the best looking game, though... My gut says something space-based, like No Man's Sky, but I don't think I've actually played that since upgrading my setup. Oblivion looks pretty good, but the sound design is pretty mellow. Maybe something like Cyberpunk 2077.

EDIT: Oh, Spider-Man 2 was pretty detailed.

Hahaha. I went to Best Buy to buy a bigger SDD for my PlayStation and came home with a new TV and soundbar, so I can relate.

Ugh, that buggy garbage heap? [Insert meme about people who have thousands of hours in a game then leave a one star review, because that's me and No Man's Sky]

I think I have both spider man games but have never played them, hmm.

I was thinking a big open world game might be good, like Red Dead or one of the Horizon games. I think Spiderman falls into that category too.

I haven't played it in years... Actually I don't think I've played it since PS4, but I keep hearing how much they've developed it and that the launch version would feel like an alpha.

Honestly I'm probably going to reinstall it to check it out in current state, now I've thought about it again.

I have. It's still buggy AF. IMO it's less fun than it used to be and they still have bugs that will corrupt your save with hundreds of hours. And there's still not even a way to save in multiple slots so you can make manual backups.

The development team is obviously trying, so kudos to them on that, but the results leave a lot to be desired.

Astroneer is a game in the same vein and much less buggy, if you'd like to try that instead.

I just started Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and it's pretty detailed. Super great character models, nice environments, etc.

What about the gameplay tho
I haven't gotten far enough in to really see much combat. It's largely been puzzle solving and exploration. The one section I went through heavy on enemies, it was very much stealth KOs the whole way.

But it does seem relatively non linear, with a lot of side stuff to do and options as to what you're going after. I was just wandering around the Vatican for a while and found myself in the Sistine Chapel, after ending up in the sewers busting down walls with a sledgehammer to find lost treasure.

It's at the very least hitting the Indiana Jones movie vibes spot on.

Actually... Getting myself into a fist fight with one too many Italian fascists in a tomb, being backed up low on health/stamina by a burly son of a bitch, and resorting to pulling out my revolver to plug them before running and using my whip to climb out of the area felt very Indiana Jones.
