Dropped it to 50, see how that does.

Edit - I was able to go into the signup thread and change pages.

There is currently no way to allow members to select the amount of posts per page, so we have it set to 50 posts by default. This has been brought up before, but now that more modifications are on the table… it might be worth revisiting.

Let’s see what @Crystal has to say about the market for add-ons for this particular feature… I don’t recall seeing any, but maybe she has looked through more of them.

I like pages, myself. Makes it easier to keep track of where you are. My phone always defaults to top of page if I switch tabs on browser or switch between apps, which makes infinite scrolling a pain in the ass.

If you’re browsing on mobile, all you should have to do is find the blue arrow boxes on the right side of the screen, they’ll take you to the quick reply box or the logo.

That I've figured out. Doesn't help in infinite scroll if I'm somewhere in the middle and have to switch apps.

That’s exactly what it was. There are two different fields in two different areas of the settings, and the one for messages was only set for 20 posts per page. The location of the settings is confusing, because it used to be the other way around. Thread display was edited under forum settings, and post display settings were controlled in its own area.

As everyone can see, I bumped the messages per page up to an even 100.
