Found this for you, @Smacktard. Launch sequences of various insects.

Edit: I guess they're not all beetles, but the weevils at the start take off so funny.

This was fascinating. Watching the weevil's wings fold outward like that, like they were pleated in half was surprising. I never knew insect wings folded that way!

For real. Seeing the variation on the two sets of wings is wild, especially in beetles where the first are a hard shell for protection. Watching the little covers flap like they're helping too was adorable.

And very cool that flies turned one of those wing sets into basically counterweights to fly better.
