Music Overplayed songs that you skip but forget how good they are when you listen to them?

There are some songs that are so over played you tune them out, or skip them when they come on shuffle. What are some songs that fall in this category you forget just how good they are because you actually havent listened them in full in a long time?

Are the three that come to my head. I have skipped them so many times, but when I let them play on occasion in full Im like damn, I forgot how good they are. Almost to the point where they are considered so overrated they become underrated.

I’m calling the police, and not the one Sting is in. It’s against the law to skip Freebird or listen to the radio edit version.

I try not to skip music much anymore. If it’s a comedy track or something, that’s another story. Otherwise, it entertains me to hear how the algorithm tries to segue between bands that have no business on the same playlist.

For me its probably most Rush singles. I've heard them so many damn times that I skip them...but occasionally I'll let one through and be like "Damn. I get it."

Pretty much all of the songs I used to listen to in high school I skip -- Boston, Foreigner, Van Halen, Styx. At this point I mostly know them by the first 0.2 seconds of the song. But I've gotten in the habit lately of never skipping songs when they come on my shuffle, and I'm back to really enjoying them again.
