I've been posting for a few days now, but it has been gently suggested to me that I ought to have announced my arrival more formally (boy have I missed that smiley)

It's been an absolute joy to see the old names and find out what everyone has been up to over the last.... hmmm.... nearly 20 years? I'm Facebook friends with quite a few of you so have been able to keep up with your life changes to a certain extent (and vice versa, although I elected to keep more recent real life drama firmly away from social media).

So, hello, here I am. A bit battle scarred and with a few stories to tell, which will undoubtedly be told over the next few weeks and months.

Really great to see you here. I'm really sorry to hear that things aren't going great in real life, but we've got plenty of time to talk through that.

Hey poj. I'd thought about you a few time over the past couple of days, trying to remember how it all started. You put me up for my mod vote in Celebrations & Parties, and were really the first person to take a chance on me. I think I also remember being being a jerk at some point and hurting your feelings, so for whatever the reason my teenage self did that, I apologize.

I am quite aware that I was the one who "unleashed the beast" initially All the others can hate on me now!

I'm also sure you were a jerk to me, but you were a jerk to a lot of other people as well so I don't feel special as you shared it around equally I also can't remember any specifics and let's face it, we were pretty good pals at one point. No grudges held.
