I haven't been around to read much today (not that I ever do). Seems we're vibin' on Christina being a baddy. Was Kat the only other suspicion that was flagged so far?

The square was packed by midday, though no one seemed eager to claim credit for gathering there.

Christina stood at the center — calm, unnervingly so. Her eyes tracked the crowd like a hunter who already knew where each trap was set. She didn't beg. She didn't defend. She only smiled, and that made it worse.

Someone whispered "She never even flinched when Vash was found…"
Another muttered, "Didn't say a word about Jawneh either…"

Suspicion had bloomed into something heavier. Now it was too late to prune it back.

The noose came down like the sun behind the clouds — slow, inevitable, cold.

Even as the rope tightened, Christina didn't scream. But when the final breath left her, something else escaped too. A ripple in the air. A shimmer of something wrong. Just for a second, the smell of pine and blood filled the square — not from any wound, but from whatever she truly was.

Then it was gone.

The townsfolk backed away, quiet now, shaken not just by what they'd done — but by the fear they'd finally gotten something right.

Christina has been lynched and was the nightmare wolf.
