Seems that way, yeah. The last shred was a miracle play where you become flagger and redirect the wolf kill, but if that's off the table, then I personally don't see a path for the town.

Honestly, my gameplan was to just not claim anything, get SOME sus, but not overly enough to scream FOOL! Play up the possibility of cupid to maybe get lynched. And just enjoy. I did just that.

I just started sensing rising temperatures with the idea of cupid couple backstabbing looming, and with literally zero shot at getting myself lynched, I didn't want to be responsible if tempers flared. So, I just outed myself.

It was meant to be noticeably different.

I wanted to play a more carefree game. The goal was to always not role claim and just see how far that got me.

Especially when I was given the Fool, it just felt like the right time to play it off that way.

I liked it. I wasn't kidding when I said this is the most fun I've had in a while. I see why people like you and Local and Alu play off the no role claim thing. I want to channel a little more inner Jawneh and play that carefree style instead of caring about win and lose.

Of course, that means for a while I will be super sus because it IS different than how I've played in the past, but, who cares, right? I'm in this for fun, not some scoreboard.

Nah, playing up the cupid was under the hope it'd sow confusion enough and I could pick up more sus to get lynched.

Once it was obvious I was the solo, I knew I couldn't get lynched because there's no reason to go after me.

Sure, with one alteration in that I want to play to win and not care to lose. Which I felt I was doing and I think what in the end made me laugh when Kat and Local were coming after me with the "WHY YOU MAD BRO?" responses.

Seems my unregulated potion enterprise has drawn the attention and ire of prospective customers; though I maintain my only 'crimes' were the end of a violent werewolf and shortkut, both acts of service to the community.

But anyway, Jon is right, I'm the alchemist. But if you kill me, the wolves kill a villager tonight and outnumber you in the morning and win. Leave me alive, and there's at least the chance I kill another wolf tonight.

Nah, I just wanted to make sure you weren't playing 5D chess and covering for actually being the SK. (I originally typed that as "TD chess" which also works). Local and I both agreed we'd help the other win if they were coupled with the SK. Not that they would even need help at that point lol.

He got two wolves killed already. We did consider the potion, but there was no guarantee he'd get another and it still gave him time to say another read.

We didn't kill kut because the town was suspicious of him. Even if he read one of us as red, it would be much easier to discredit him.

I did consider Fools, but it seemed too obvious. We needed to dodge possible protection and preacher. Glad we didn't go that route!

CG was another possibility since he outed a wolf and was more trusted, but with the wildcard still unknown, him being coupled was likely suspected. So better to leave him around and get rid of somebody more trusted. Alu was the only other trusted option, so we went for him.

If you want more justification to give the win to us: we got a townie killed the first day with shaman, killed two strong roles with berserk, and got a townie lynched with shadow even though the town had enough votes to outvote us (with Christina). AND we couldn't talk privately during the day for two days (I officially hate shadow wolf because of this).
