Strange kill by the wolves. After the results of yesterday's lynch, I was going to go after Zell HARD today. I think this suggests dimmerwit really WAS the wolf trickster, but I think we should probably vote for Jon just to be on the safe side.

Unless there are better ideas buried in this 8 page thread

Yes and no. The wolves have the advantage of talking to one another. And they also have to cycle through truth and lies to determine who is the biggest threat to them at any given moment. They may or may not deem you a target if they know.

Typically an avenger is avoided so they don't get hit with the avenge. When there is a protection role, sometimes killing the obvious person is a deterrent to avoid having their kill blocked.

Unfortunately, we often don't know what they are thinking until post game. But more information almost always helps the town. The wolves, depending on roles, often have more than the town does, and mistrust and lack of info is often what undoes them. And the town wins more often because they can overcome mistakes more readily than the wolves.

Local is right though, the more role claims out there the harder it is for the wolves to keep up the masquerade.

The issue for the town is often the solo roles. Wolves worry too, but they often want the solo kill roles alive longer to off more town. The town can't afford to wait too long to kill the solo killer. For example, if we have an arsonist, the town is probably in grave danger as they will kill 4 people at minimum tomorrow.

1) two aura seers come out and name me as wolves, local hero already admitted he lied
2) you ignore one of them and come for me pretty early
3) after i make my role at a killer claim you say that my kill is going to get blocked
4) i worry about killing a townie but everyone convinces me it will be fine
5) i get targeted by the nightmare wolf that saves local hero from dying
6) a bunch of stuff happens with this trickster wolf and jawneh/tommy boy that im not sure we understand
7) the plan is for jon to die and take out jawneh
8) tommy boy is apparently convinced you protected him with some wink wink nudge nudge agreement
9) you come in with intimate knowledge claiming dimmerwit is the real wolf
10) lets kill the kill role we just blocked, right? its urgent, the other stuff can wait

when im revealed and if either jon/jawneh are bad you are going to look pretty silly but i guess this is what wolves do? pick on the new player?

Yeah, I'm still going to kill Jawneh because he's very much NOT the ritualist and if he's the fool, my kill of him is significantly safer than a lynch in case he IS the fool.

I'm expecting to be lynched and agreed to it because killing Jawneh is the right move. If Tommy is the ritualist and rez's me giving me another avenge, it's icing on the cake.

Maybe we should do that but target Jawneh who got caught lying about his role and is definitely evil but possibly a Fool trying to get lynched?

Just an idea I just came up with just now and definitely not in the other 9 pages of this thread

A player who is concussed will not be able to use any abilities during that day or the subsequent night. If the shadow wolf is in effect, a concussed player cannot vote. If a player is hit with a rock a second time, they will be killed. If the bully kills a player, the bully's role will be revealed to the entire village. The bully can only shoot a rock once per day. The bully gets 4 rocks in total.
