I think it'd be fun to be coupled but it seems impossible to win that way. Zell and Alu were solid choices though.

I almost coupled Alu and shortkut for an Eric/Erik trio, and a wolf/SK combo could have been deadly

I'll admit I didn't vote for shortkut. I woke up to like 5 new pages in the thread and didn't feel like going through it, and no one could really explain why a bandwagon had formed.

To be fair, from my false perspective I had already determined who the wolves HAD to be, so there was no point worrying about anything but completing the endgame.

I did the same thing as Kelly. I think I pointed us out because of our timezones meant we were both online after the discussion had stopped and could have condemned him. I was hovering over that button for too long!

The claim demanded votes IMO. If there had been a possibility of a fool I would never have done it. A BH that only self traps is basically a landmine for the town, because all the way through the end game they will be identical to a solo killer in every way. So even if kut had been a real BH I was fine voting him, because it reduces places for a solo to hide. That’s also why I asked if there were any other BH out there, because once you eliminate that as a possible claim finding the solo killer gets a lot easier

@Zell 17 this is based off a game you play elsewhere, right? How often does the Cupid team win in that version?

It depends on the coupling, wolf-wolf being basically impossible to win as a couple (because the wolf win condition triggers first almost always). Townie-townie couples as well, they need some really strong roles like jailer to pull it off.

But couple wins in general aren’t that uncommon. More common than other solo varieties, maybe similar to wolf wins.

Yeah, and we had decent numbers too. I regretted it pretty much instantly.

If we lynched kut and the Jailer saved Ants that night then it would have been 10-3 to the village with the solo killer gone and the Cupid identified as the wildcard.
