NFL Fantasy Expressions of Interest

We are now less than a month away from the start of the season and I thought given we had discussed previously I'd get some expressions of interest for an NFL-based fantasy league. We had 9 people interested per the previous poll but would love to get 12-14 entrants. No entry fee with the only prize being pride and perhaps a shiny badge here.

In terms of ruleset was thinking to make it perhaps the simplest:

• PPR
• Team D
• Based on ESPN
• 1 QB, 2 RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1K, 1OFF FLEX. 1 Team D

Any other ruleset thoughts?

I'm in. Those rules look good. I loved playing IDP but agree with others that I can't quite keep up anymore with that level of detail.

The Raiders left Oakland and are in Vegas now, and Dan Snyder renamed the Redskins finally to take the heat off of his other shady practices. Oh, and Brady is finally done for. You’re caught up.

He crumbled under the weight of his ego last season, dude. Between pushing himself for one more season and his personal life, he should have just stayed retired. Friend of mine has been a fan of his since he was drafted, says a lot of people view him differently after that last season.

Naaah… keep in mind, I’m not really up on the gossip side, but two seasons ago he retired after his season with the Bucs. His old lady wanted him home with the growing kids and off of the field where more and more people were trying to level him, he wanted to play. Maybe halfway into the season it came out that they were divorcing. He played like shit the whole season. Ended up going away quietly in the end.

Ok we have 9 confirmed players I believe, so next point of order would be a draft date/time. What would suit you guys?

Still open to more players and would be great to get to 10/12

I can likely make myself most weekdays between 5pm-11pm ET. Weekends are a mix, with enough notice I should be good unless I'm visiting my mom.

12 is optimal, but an even number would be fantastic if we can get to 10. Not having to deal with bye weeks is always best. Opening day is September 7th, and I'm fine with doing a draft all the way up until then. We have a bit of time to get that last person in so lets try for it.

I'll try to make any time work. I'll have a bit of an ease in my schedule after this week up until September 15th, so I can be flexible there.

I agree, 10 or 12 teams would be great. Best evenings for me would be Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays (I have another draft on Sunday 9/3, but not sure if it will be afternoon or evening yet). If I'm unable to make it, I can likely get a fill-in drafter.

Evenings on your side of the world will work well for me, 7pm ET is 9am my time and I will just make sure I am working from home if it's not a weekend my time.

I'm EST and work till 6 most days. I have my own personal league draft on 8/24, but outside of that, I'm open any evening.
