Okay, so finally reading up on roles again and comparing to the story.

We know two of the Corpo roles, one being Kat, who is dead. The other being the Genetic Scientist, who has used their spore power. That leaves two corpo roles with powers left.

For the City roles, obviously we know of the Ganger (Dead Body) and Neon Dealer (Local). Can there be more of one role? Just trying to figure out if we still have a ganger.


I have no idea what the other roles might be at this point. Hopefully we're not dealing with the 3-hit wonder lone wolf out there for the solo.

After spending a couple hours napping to the dulcet rock tones of the insect band, Jon decided it was time for a walk. He was trying to get over the 3 murders and the couch fucking he had to witness this morning.

Fucking JD... I need a new couch now... he thought as he walked out.

Getting to the outskirts of town, Jon eyes a smoke plume like you would see from a recently put out campfire. Sweet! Maybe there's someone there I can talk to. This has been a rough day so far. As he approaches the plume, Jon eyes a sleeping stranger and excitedly approaches.

Hi, friend! Could I interest you in some lunch!? I know a great diner nearby and I'm famished! Could use a companion to talk to and have a good meal with. It's on me!

But there was no response. Feeling this was weird, the intrepid citizen moves closer to try and gently wake the sleeping man. Gently placing his hand on his shoulder, the man rolls onto his back, eyes glazed over, clutching a soccer ball, with a note written in blood.

Jon jumped back in horror.

NOT ANOTHER ONE! he exclaimed as he took the soccer ball and read the note.

He fair dinkum told me he loved kangaroos! And I believed him!
What the hell is going on in this city!?

Benzine visited with the Dead Body and was killed in an ambush. Benzine was the Nomad.

I didn't forget about this and retcon it in. And you can't prove it.

I'm one of the few people (apparently) who didn't have an ability that could be used on the first night. So I did nothing useful.

I have been asked multiple times, so I figure I'll put this here so everyone has the same info:

MOST roles can appear multiple times. There are a few roles that I made it so they can only appear once. I have not announced which ones (I will after the game), but they should be pretty easy to determine if you've read the roles. For the non-readers, it'd be similar to the roles that are restricted in Zell's games.

Because odds are I'll die on my own anyways. It's much simpler to let nature take its course than dirty your own hands.

I also still need a few names as targets for me. I don't want to do that myself.

Okay I read the rules. Corpo kills get resources from their kills to make even MORE kills. So I'm guessing they took resources from two people from their kills last night? Maybe three, if including Benzine?

That means the genetic scientist can hit again and get the corpo a total of 2 kills at night.

So it seems like the priority is finding them I guess. But based on what people said, most abilities can really only be used the second night, right? I didn't read all of the roles so maybe I'm being hoodwinked.

There's quite a few kill roles everywhere. If role allocation was good, we might have multiple shots available at night. Minus the single one the headhunter had.

I did look at the corpo roles too. The sporemancer isn't as bad anymore for thus game. The power can only be used once now, so that corpo is now just a normal nogoodnick.

Solo I got no idea yet. Probably not the day time killer unless they randomly appear still this morning for a kill.

I just realized something. My role is kind of ass, so maybe my resources would be better spent by another player.

I think there's a way to gift resources, right?

Only specific roles can pass resources around. And at least one passes them when they die.

As the sun begins to set, amazing citizen Jon is returning home. The horrors of the day finally over. Witnessing 4 deaths was not how he planned to spend the day. But, he was home now. Some dinner and sleep is the pill the doctor prescribed. Why the doctor asked him if he wanted the red or blue pill confused him, but having chose the blue pill, Jon felt good about this choice.

The thing that bothered Jon the most though? Outside JD and his couch, was that no one in the city was talking. No propaganda, no police sirens, no voices at all. Mild farts in the wind were it. Hopefully, tomorrow comes with more chatter.
