Ugh. This is bringing back memories of trying to acquire lumber for a handicap ramp during COVID lockdown.

Finished my basement in late 2020 and had to buy 120 2x4s... that was when lumber costs were skyrocketing and awful trying to get straight ones.

The lumberyard my construction family members use was shut down at that point so it was Home Depot... took three trips and like 2 hours to get everything.

Dude, it was terrible. We had to scour 5 different Home Depot stores for the 4x4 posts and 1x4 planks we needed, and then another 2 Lowe’s stores to find the 2x4’s and 2x8’s because HD didn’t have ANY treated and I wasn’t about to put untreated lumber on a ramp leading up to the front door of a house. Another friend of mine left 6x6 posts tied together with ratchet straps for 10 months while we waited for prices to drop so we could finish his back deck. He was quoted at nearly $25k for a two level deck connecting to a pool back in 2020, by 2021-22 when it was finally completed he managed to get that cost down $10k.
