I mean it makes me not eligible either. But it needs to exclude the people who can just change it without needing to convince someone to make the change for them.

…and then we’re gonna have to have someone retroactively edit all of the name changes in the log to reflect who suggested what, and I can think of at least a half dozen different members off of the top of my head that aren’t admins that suggested names.

Nope. I’d go the easy route and create a new required field for all members, they’d have to submit a name change for Alu, and then I’d award everyone but him the badge, effectively making everything so much simpler.
