Addiction + election over + I started doing shutters again so need it for business.

I dearly wish I could stay off Facebook forever though, I can tell it's not good for me. Need to find a better replacement for instant gratification when I'm bored or procrastinating.

I have only not deleted mine because Messenger is one of the few things my aging mother in England knows how to use.

But honestly I should just tell her to use email (Hotmail lol) and delete it.

I deleted X, even though I posted maybe once on it.

Should delete Prime, too. That's a waste of time.

Much more efficient to just delete those tech bros, though. 🤔

It's been better since I unsubscribed from all the political pages and groups I used to follow. I do like seeing updates from friends or family that I like, but trouble is that there are so many conservative people I've Friended over the years that they keep sharing horrible shit and I get pulled into the comment sections of those things. I think if I take it a step further and unfriend a lot of those people and start clicking to hide content like that then maybe I'd be okay. I don't think I'd be making an echo chamber for myself because I'd want to hide even the political content I agree with (because horrible people show up to argue in those places too), and I'd mostly be using it to share fun stuff and follow people I still care about.

Maybe I'll do a big purge today.

It ain't about the people. I have no right-leaning people on my friends list. And I haven't posted an update on it in like a year.

I just feel I should be doing my part to make Zuckerberg's platform die.

I just realize it'd be forsaking whatever minimal connection I have to any old friends I used to have and probably shouldn't isolate myself to only you GW people.
