Multi Marvel Rivals?

Anyone giving it a go? Trying to convince some real life friends to get into it... as I couldn't get them into overwatch. I just want to play something with them that's not Fortnite. Since it's new and free I'm hoping they'll be ken enough.

I like it. It's overwatch. My main problem is not feeling much progression but that'll probably fill out as the game ages.

I like OW. I am keen on getting a fair few more games in. I have been playing on ps5 but... I'm 1203412321x more talented on the computer (after years of console neglect). So it's kinda hurting my soul.

My friend has tried it, doesn't really like it. He has a bad opinion.

I couldn't give a fuck about progression, I just like fighting. As long as the game is balanced and varied, I think it'll be great fun.

Who've you been playing? I'd love to hear recommendations if you've played a bit. I'm a killer Zen and Ana, what would be closest to them?

I've also been playing Moon Knight because I like him.

I probably won't tank in this game... I rarely do (only Zarya and Ball on certain maps).

I've just dabbled so far and haven't settled on a main but I've been undefeated as Adam Warlock so that's fun. He's a lot like Mercy.

Luna Snow kinda feels like a mix between Zen and Lucio.

I never played much Ana, but Peni Parker and Mantis have the equivalent to her sleep dart, and Luna/Loki both have the bullets that hurt/heal based on who you hit so Luna might be a great choice for you.

i’ve only played it for a little bit. don’t think it’s something that I will play all the time but every once in awhile I’ll probably go back to it, just mainly been playing as the punisher as he’s simple to play as i tried playing as captain america and haven’t figured him out yet (though I do want to kind of try). that being said the Melee characters annoy the hell out of me

That's actually the new Iron Fist, not Shang Chi. But he's about as oppressive as Shang Chi is in Snap so I get it.

I haven't played this yet, but I intend to. I have it installed. I'm getting more time to play games recently, but not so much that I can just put 20 hours into something easily. I've started Sifu for now, and might sprinkle in Marvel Rivals for a change of pace. Is it easy to get a group together to play together? If so I'd definitely be up for a GW game, even with other randoms.

I'm addicted to this game. I've been playing since release and to this day I'm still finding new mains. Just got my first two MVPs outside of the winter arcade mode the other night as Squirrel Girl and I had only used her like once before then. I'm using Rocket and Iron Man most consistently, alongside Star-Lord and Punisher sometimes. Really wanted to get good with Cap and Wolverine, but it's been a struggle. Instead I found Squirrel Girl and Scarlet Witch, which I probably should've been playing a long time ago because I'm a former Junkrat main who can't aim worth shit.

My biggest issue with the game (aside from the amount of toxicity that I assume is coming from the Overwatch players migrating over) is that so much about the game isn't clearly explained. I've learned so many things about different heroes from watching streamers and YouTubers that the game never even mentions. But at the same time, this also makes things even more fun because it's like unlocking new abilities.

I love the sheer amount of characters in the game, though. Even the ones I suck at are cool and feel really good to play. Even without hero stacking being allowed, if I get sick of a character there's always a million others to play around with. I also heard they have no intention of ever adding a role queue, which I'm ecstatic about. Really excited to try out Ultron and the other leaked characters when they get added, and I'm crossing my fingers for Ghost Rider. Or MODOK because that'd be hilarious.

I have minimal experience playing Overwatch or anything comparable, but I installed this and gave it a try a couple days ago. Played my first game as Groot and won it, so I'm not mad.



Bad mic levels, but it does have my confused rambling in it.

I will admit to having no idea what this means...!

Not having actually looked at his abilities before playing I assumed he was just tanky wall-maker with some rooting. I didn't realize I could heal people.

I played a Loki game and kinda figured out I could heal with him, but that was just a big clusterfuck. Still won that game but I didn't think I contributed as much.

basically, you're a tank, and i felt a lot of your dps were getting in front of you a bit mroe often than you were in front of them. it was going fine and there's nothing wrong with that, but i felt at times you were going long stretches of time without getting hit (and having a big hp pool).

tanking is by far the hardest role in these types of games. it's great for learning though.
