Holy shit, y'all are old. I may be getting dangerously close to 40, but none of this stuff makes me feel old. I don't use any of the slang of the youths, but I generally know what they mean and take no umbrage with their use. We had our slang when we were young, get with the times ya old farts! lol

Swag changed at one point. In the beginning of the word, it was the general overall person, but then somehow devolved into just the possessions.

I don't think I talk enough to "the youth" to feel old.. I do sometimes use the newer slang terms ironically to get a laugh out of my coworkers (who are mostly older than me).

I think the only time I really felt my age was earlier this year, I woke up from a night out (concert) and my neck was sore for two days! I was like "ok.. is this a thing now??? Is that why they call it being a neck breaker?"

Lit means awesome.

Fire is the same as lit.

Slaps is when a song strikes a cord with you.

Rizz is just a lazy way to say charisma.

Mid is mediocre (MIDdle of the road)

Basic is what people who use "hip" words like drip, lit, Rizz, mid, and basic, etc because they think it's cool.

Any other dumb buzzwords you need to know the meaning of?
