I'm not getting any snow until Saturday. Lots of lake effect snow expected in the Great Lakes this weekend, though. STL is only expected to see an inch.I've got to pick up pies from thy local diner in 30, but that I'm starting on this.
It started snowing pretty heavily this morning, so best I don't try to drink and pies.
Thanksgiving got canceled due to my wife being sick but we were supposed to go to my brother-in-laws so now I have to figure out what to do. I have canned pumpkin so I’ll make pumpkin soup, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin oat bars.Bought a pumpkin pie from costco and made a flourless chocolate torte.

I'd invite you if you lived nearbyI decided to skip Thanksgiving (I don't have extended family in the area and everybody I want to see, I already see on a regular basis) this year, so I'm going to eat some tortellini and play video games. Maybe I'll finish putting together my LEGO helicopter. I have some "magic berry" cider to finish, too.
Should be a fun day for me. I hope the rest of you have as much fun.
I dunno really. We use a combination of seriously sharp cheddar, comte, and parmesan cheeses, then found a good quality brown rice pasta for it. After that it's just the right combination of spices. I think this time we included paprika in addition to cayenne and such. We also use lactaid milk instead to keep the lactose low. Gotta make the roux with GF flour obviously, and keep about a quarter of the cheese mix out of the generic cheese sauce to sprinkle in layers when spreading it out to be baked. Then just enjoy it.What's the secret with your mac and cheese?

I can confirm that this was a good call. It was rotisserie marinated pork loin. I really need to buy more of these.I've got a pre-marinated pork loin waiting for me in the fridge when I get home. Last marinade was solid, I liked the sound of the one I got, so I'm looking forward to it. Didn't want to do turkey or duck this year because I'm working today and tomorrow. So something that I can toss in the oven with no effort is best.
