So one of the other things I spent a lot of my time on back when oGW was a thing were webcomics, and I wanted to see who else is continuing to read them. Obviously not many of them have continued this long, but plenty more have popped up to take their place, not to mention webtoons allowing a platform for more and more people to tell their stories.

One of my favorites sprang up out of the enormous Homestuck forums back when that was running, Kill Six Billion Demons, and is now entering it's final book. While the author maintains it is a graphic novel that he happens to release a page of on his website every week, I'm going to count it as it's world building and characters are top notch and it deserves every kind of recognition it can get. Remarkably little demon slaying, though.

Tiger, tiger is a fantastic ongoing story set on the high seas, following a merchants daughter that stole her brother's ship and crew to follow her dream, studying sea sponges. Plot ensues.

And just to highlight it's artstyle, Bybloemen is a story of the Dutch tulip trade, helped along by a couple of professional tempters.

I followed Dr McNinja right to its conclusion, always enjoyed it

Like others here I kept an eye on Cyanide&H, Ctrl Alt Del, xkcd, also bits of Dilbert and Pearls Before Swine.

Once tried to write my own comic about Battletoads using screenshots I created playing the game, wrote pages and pages for a week then got bored and dropped it

I used to read Ctrl+Alt+Del, but I stopped a looooong time ago. The only one I keep up with now is Perry Bible Fellowship, and it's infrequent enough that it's not a chore.

I also remembered reading Hipster Hitler. I looked at it again recently and it's pretty cringey I found that humor funny

I used to love XKCD. I still do, but I used to too. I got one of the books that dude wrote and it's absolutely hilarious.

Perry Bible Fellowship is amazing.

I used to be a Penny Arcade fan. Even bought a couple of the collection books they had.

Cyanide and Happiness I still dig.

Achewood is a personal favorite as well.

My favorite of all time is probably 8-Bit Theater

8 bit theater was a treat, I read that to the end. It’s one of the few, most others I stopped reading because I got bored of them or they went off.
Dunno if you were aware but there was a kickstarter that collects the texts of every comic in a massive tome. Hopefully it ships soonish.

...it was originally going to be all the actual comics but uh...Square has good lawyers so it wasn't a great idea.

I read some of these people mentioned here. At some point I did lose interest in keeping up with them other than maybe random feeds on social media or people sharing them otherwise. I do, however, read a bunch of manga and manhwa these days instead.

I've got a shonen jump monthly sub and damn is it a value. I'd pay this much just for Chainsaw Man and Dandadan alone.

I'm a filthy monster and just use an aggregate website. :sad Although manhwas tend to have specific translators with their website so I try to go to those whenever I can/remember (since the aggregates have those in them too).

You can always go with Manga + if you don't have the scratch. Ads at the end of each chapter and I think you can only read a chapter in the archive once, but they're nice clean scans and consistent translators.
